Exactly as described and does its job. Used as a ground sheet for my tent as well as to cover my car. Happy with it and ordered the 12x18 size as well. Found the price very competitive and liked the number of different sizes available. Arrived fast

Stood up for the summer in various outdoor weather conditions. Glad to know that I'll be able to use it again next summer. Great price considering size of product.......

It's very thin, which I expect for the price. We think we'll get one year use out of it, but we'll see. My husband used each one to cover our raised garden beds for the winter. So we will see how it goes this winter.

I don't have a way to measure thickness, but I'm pretty sure this tarp isn't 5mil. I have a 5mil tarp from the "orange big box store" and it was much thicker. That said, it worked to cover some mulch I had in a trailer while it was being towed (not very far though) and to keep the rain off when the trailer was parked. I don't think it would be effective to put under a tent, which is why I bought it. I do not think it would hold up to much wind, especially if tied down to a trailer going 60-70 MPH.As to the other reviewer's comments about cut versus finished size, the finished size was pointed out in the product details.

For some reason there is a "cut size" and a "finished size" on the label for this tarp. The finished size is 9ft 4in x 15ft 6in which is smaller than what the description on says on amazon. If you look at a close up of this tarp you will notice that the size is blank unlike the one I received. This is very misleading. Why would anyone need to know the size when it was cut and then the size when it was finished being made is beyond me.
