Lovely pestle and mortar set. It is heavy and feels very well made. Grinds beautifully. The design is exactly as pictured and fits in well with my kitchen/witchy items. It is on the smaller side, but this actually suited me better!

Good value for money
I thought about going to the kitchen supplies for a cheap standard pestle and mortar and then painting it to my own design. To my surprise all the ones in the kitchen section were more expensive. This pestle and mortar seems OK. I hope its cheapness isn't a reflection of its quality!

I bought this to grind the spices to make the Tunisian salsa, harissa. It looks very attractive. It would certainly do the job. Anyone wanting to hand grind anything would do well with this thing.
