Essential Grooming Kit

I do a lot of travel for work and I work in a corporate sector where you want to be groomed and well kept at all times. This is perfect and has come on many business trips with me. Easy to toss in carry on. High quality tools as always.

My favorite part of this nail grooming kit is the file! It’s a little pricey but worth it! The tool is sharp though which is great but takes a little bit of learning & keep away from kids!

The grooming tools are great. The case, which is the main selling point, is super loose and is not able to hold the items well, they just fall off. If they actually had the case have full sides instead of half sides, this would have been perfect.

Overall I can say this is a nice set my only gripe is that the case is a little flimsy and sometimes when you put this in your wash bag they end up falling out and you have to individually look for each one.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've been a fan of Tweezerman products for a long time; however, this kit is a bit of a let down. Pros: I like the the tweezers, clippers and scissors. The meet the standard of quality that I expect. The nail tool is mediocre, but not that concerned about that. Cons: The case is a complete disappointment. It's a very very cheap vinyl, and I don't expect it to hold up for very long. The bottom line...get it if you need a compact kit with the grooming essentials, but don't expect much from the case.

Got this for travel and it's a nice compact set. tools are very good quality. I was hesitant about purchasing this because of all the negative comments about the case being worthless and everything falling out. I found that it works just fine if you load it correctly. There is a loop in the center back to hold the scissors and slits on each side for the clippers and tweezers. The file then goes in the middle. I've attached a picture as an example.

Solid set of tools! I only have one problem with this set (but it's not enough for me to drop he rating) - the fingernail file for me is not the greatest - it's difficult to file the sides and corners of my nails bc there's plastic surrounding the file edges. I don't use this for filing anymore as emery boards are far superior. I will say that the metal ends on the file are awesome for digging out gunk from under the nails if needed. Wish these were made in the USA.

I bought this kit because I desperately needed something for business trips. Yes, you can indeed pack the tweezers, clippers, and mustache scissors in your carry-on. However, don't even think about trying to get the nail file past security. Anyway, back to the review. The scissors are great for cleaning up my mustache and goatee, the tweezers are made from surgical steel and work *very* well, the nail file is quite hefty and does a fantastic job, and the nail clippers are unbelievably sharp and cut super clean! What about the case, you ask? Well, I wouldn't call this a case because nothing actually stays where you put it. Everything just sort of falls out immediately. Yes, it's really that bad. Hence the four-star rating instead of five. Bottom line. If you can get past the horrible case, you'll find yourself with an outstanding, high-quality grooming kit.
