because if you are too lazy to clean it and too many bugs are in there it will catch fire and burn down your house.

Q: Does it work during the day while you're in the backyard eating?

It will work - and you'll hear zaps - but not nearly as well as when operating in the dark. This is due to the way it works. Basically, the uv light attracts bugs, but that attraction works best when it is dark outside. Good Luck!

No,It does not use any chemicals or harmful substances. The UV light serves as a trap that lures in insects.

Q: Is this a bug zapper outdoor or bug zapper indoor?

I use it at my shop which is outdoors and indoors. It seems to handle misting fine but I wouldn’t let it get too wet. As for indoors, if a really big bug gets in it it could start zapping for a bit longer ( not a big deal ) and you might smell the bug after it’s been fried. I highly recommend this zapper.
