My hubby likes anything that lights up. We purchased this for adventure/whitewater rafting and camping. It's very lightweight and portable which is fantastic for convenience or outdoor adventure, however, it needs to be anchored or hung to prevent it from becoming airborne in the first wind. It puts out good light over a reasonable area. The circumference of lights projection is dependent on location of light; sitting low on horizontal surface or hung overhead. There's good light distribution when hung overhead and we were able to use it for cooking/dining in a late night kitchen experience on the beach. It was fantastic to have instant light and not have to deal with a kerosene lantern. I LOVE the safety of this light and there is nothing to smell, spill, burn or damage surfaces. I got a nasty burn once so that's something I truly appreciate.This holds a charge well and it could be hung on the outside of a pack, raft or gear during the day to recharge as the weight is negligible to carry. My curious Hubby charged this and stuck it in dark closet and it still had a full charge after more than two weeks. I'm certain a charge would last a lot longer though we've never tested the length of time from full charge and storage to complete discharge. Besides, it's quick and easy to recharge.This light is not indestructable and the top of light will crack. Our light still works but the damage would make it more difficult to collapse flat for storage. We recommend not giving this light to a 5 year old as a night light regardless of how fascinated they are with it. Guess how we know.This was repurchased to give as a gift and the recipient has been equally delighted. My husband plans on purchasing more for himself as you can never have too many portable lights. Right? Also, I always know where this light is. Hubby has kept this right by him on the kitchen table for months now so the only caution I can offer on this product is that it might become a part of your permanent decor... forever... sigh.

Pesa muy poco, se carga con la luz solar y alumbra muy bien durante 10 o 12 horas con su carga completa. Tiene dos niveles de intensidad y uno intermitente. Al ser impermeable, puedo usarla con lluvia, y además puedes tener las manos libres porque se puede colgar

Absolutely fantastic light. I took this camping with my family. It is incredibly lightweight, charges quickly and is seriously bright. I really cannot recommend this light enough. Lots of my friends have since gone on to purchase them and have been very pleased too.
