Free Fall: A Caldecott Honor Award Winner – A Magical Wordless Journey Through Dreams and Fantasy for Children (Ages 4-8) : Wiesner, David: desertcart.in: Books Review: La grafica e la storia sono molto suggestive. Non c'è una storia scritta, ma raccontare e leggere le immagini è affascinante Review: This is a truly one of the most wonderful books picture books that I have ever had the pleasure to read. This book has become a favorite in my household (toddler to preschool age). The book is about a young boys dreams and how the dreams and the objects in them meld and change throughout the night. A good example is how the green-checked bedspread turns into farmland, and then later it turns into a chessboard. Also, the pawn pieces on the chessboard that accompany him throughout his dream turn out to be the salt and pepper shakers on his bedside table. It is truly a visually stunning book. The story is never the same and every time we read it, we find something new that amazes us. There are no words at all and I did have to "read" it a few times to show my 3 year old the intricacies of the pictures before he understood the flow of the book.
