Light stopped working after 3 days!!
What a waste of my money. The light stopped working after only 3 days in my kitchen.

Disappointing
I've been using this product for 2 weeks now and it's a waste of money and electricity. Kitchen area is full of fruit fly and the device was only able to catch 2 flys! From my side it's not recommended and electric zapper was the most helpful device ever used.

Not that good.
It will catch some, but majority will be flying around it. Waste of money.

Me encanta! Atrapa los mosquitos sin necesidad de molestos insecticidas. Altamente recomendable. Quiza lo único que podría mejorar es en que la trampa quedase abajo del enchufe. Pero es una excelente inversión.

I have tried: Zevo Flying Insect Traps (RECOMMEND this product) Husaco Store 2 Flying Insect Traps & 2 Cartridges - Compatible with ZEVOM364A Refill Katchy Flying Insect Trap Indoor Terro Fruit Fly Traps - (RECOMMEND) I tried several products for my recent gnat/fruit fly/super tiny demons from hell infestation. I really wanted to like some, but basically overall the ZEVO was superior. Thankfully I bought that one initially, but did not realize how severe my infestation got (as I was away from home for abit). Zevo pretty immediately and quickly toned down the flying creatures, and I noticed quickly the trap filling up with more and more. A good week in it was basically all covered up. I ended up getting a total of 4 Zevo traps, in certain areas I knew would fly to at night. Night is very good at getting them. I think it helps having no other lights on either. I will mention I also got Terro fly trap, and they are just lil tiny apple looking containers that you fill with some nasty vinegar mixture. I fill it up just a small amount, because honestly that is enough and I can keep refilling it. One I had to dump because of so many dead bodies and I refilled it up. I put one of those in my fridge just incase. And some near the other traps to try to attract them faster to the Zevo's light of death. The Katchy and offbrand zevo aka Husaco store traps, just basically didn't trap as many.... Like say a week went by and I could count the flies it was a handful. They just weren't as amazing/fast for me. I had such a drastic reduction with 2 Zevo's and now that I got 4 going, I think they might finally be eradicated. (With the Terro assists. I liked putting them by the sinks. ---EDIT --- So. I was wrong. I noticed bugs before I went on another weekend trip and it was declining to a point I thought they were gone and with me being gone they were just able to breed more. This product still worked, But I needed more products for the war against the gnats. To start off. I have pets. And there is water bowl sources, litter boxes. etc. I didn't seem to notice any issues or problems with the litter, thankfully did not need to make any changes there, maybe because I take care of it often enough. Products Used for the battle (Ill write recommended if I loved it) Over a course of 3 days I saw a drastic reduction and 4-5 days I'm having trouble finding any: More refill cartridges for this plug in -> Mistakenly thought the war ended, but these got full and I needed more. Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray, Dish Soap, Apple Scent, 16oz <- Recommended - good for dishes anyway. I sprayed inside the toilet after every flush. If they tried to breed in it, this stuff traps them and they cant fly or get out and they drown. This how you home make liquid traps, vinegar helps lure them to it. To be honest they didn't seem to care for the toilet, (which is kept shut). But I did this as precaution. Zevo Brand can spray - I stopped using because I needed alot, and it worked great kills on contact but gets used so fast, there is hardly enough in the can. (Recommended Mighty spray below) - also this is really expensive... Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Insect Repellent Spray – Natural Indoor & Outdoor Bug Control for Spiders, Ants, Roaches, and More – Plant-Based, Extra-Strong Formula - 16 oz -> RECOMMENDED -> This has ALOT of spray. And it doesn't seem to kill IMMEDIATELY but wait 2-3 seconds and yeah, they stop moving. Unless you get a good clean direct close up shot. Was also nice, to spray them on the wall, they would immediately fall off. PLUS you get to one on one gnats and take 'em down right where you see them. I'd go around to windows and doors, and find them there. Pew, pew. Bit satisfying. And smell isn't so bad, but can be strong. In the heat of battle you might be overwhelmed. I'd take a break from the area, get a fan etc. Smell will dissipate eventually/gradually. Sticky traps, the yellow that has a tack and hangs from wall - 40 Pack Fruit Fly Traps for Indoor, Fly Traps Outdoor, Sticky Fly Trap Strips Tape Killer Catcher Paper Ribbon, Flying Insect Trap for Bug, Gnat, Insect, Pest, Mosquito -> RECOMMENDED -> Good passive attack. These are useful in variety of spots. Gnats tend to scale the walls and go up to the ceiling where these bad boys come in handy. I had one just in the wall not ceiling but high up so pets cant get to it. Was collecting quiet a few. TERRO Drain Insect Killer - T590 Drain Fly Killer Spray - Foam Treatment for Fruit Flies, House Flies, and Cockroaches Also Green Gobbler drain killer. -> (recommend) I used the gobbler first, frankly I think both work and wil do the job. But this is a plus that it foams right up (not for long mind you) but I did notice gnats gravitate towards it and immediately die. What you need to do is use this stuff and then PLUG the holes. see below + more info. Aluvor Bathtub Stopper 2pcs Sink Stopper Tub Plug Bathroom Shower Drain Plug Silicone Bathtub Drain Plug Tub Drain Stopper Washbasin Stopper - RECOMMENDED - Now this is why I think I got away with one can of the foam. I didn't really need to reapply, but I did as precaution. For sink, plug the tiny hole with tape, its a backup hole for overflow, most sinks should have it if not you are good. Then use the tiny one for the bathroom sink. And the other one for the tub. I closed off the sink and mostly used the bathroom sink as my main source for washing/cleaning things. I did notice a fly or two come out during this but they seem dazed and was easily able to hand kill them. I'd be ready to spray them down. After I was done and wasn't going to use a drain for awhile I'd foam it up again. So depending on this factor you might want more foam. (I didn't run out of the can yet, so can't say for sure). Either way if it is sealed up you have time to buy more if needed. No product found for kitchen sink drain blocker/stopper -> I had bought one but it didnt actually block. I ended up using a plastic throwaway cup and weighed it down with a can for good measure, pretty sure they don't have ant strength to come and go. And the other sink for disposal I had a sink stopper already which blocked that side completely. I sprayed the foam in both and tried to avoid using the sink. Wondercide - Fruit Fly Traps for Indoors - Fruit Fly Killer - Pet and People Safe - Made in USA & Plant Based - 5.4 oz - 2 Pack -> PLUS has a cover lid on top, pets might knock it over but can't step into it. I would see gnats crawling on top of it quite often. Just checked and imo these did as well as the raid one below. Double for less money I thought it was. And has a cover on it with holes for the bugs to go in. Raid Essentials Fruit Fly Trap for Indoors, Made with Essential Oils, Child and Pet Safe, 5.4 oz -> This worked it was catching ALOT. However my cat, stepped his back foot in it somehow, and it wasn't knocked over. I have no IDEA how this happened but I had to wash his leg off. This DID work well. You could see a layer of gnats forming on the top quickly. - The expensiveness of this mixed with not being great around pets I can't recommend. I DO recommend those terro fruit fly traps that looks like red apples. Those are effective always have been. Thats my standard go to when I notice these usually from bananas. also not to expensive. Trash can with a LID -> I had ONE trash can with a LID so it was closed. I would use to throw stuff away in and took that outside often so they couldn't sneak in and have a party. Hefty actually has one with a GOOD seal. However, I was unable to obtain the item as my local store had it in stock but it was damaged and had a hole on the side of the can.... So I settled for a regular lid that wasn't fully sealed but had a button to open it and I'd just close it after. (Hefty Touch Lid is the name). It was helpful for the cause. I think most have a trash can with a lid but if not it is highly RECOMMENDED. -- WHAT you need to check -- Water sources, bowls etc. Pet bowls of water. pet FOUNTAINS. Need to be cleaned at least 1x every 24 hour period. Personally if I saw them sitting on anything I'd clean that immediately. I never saw them on the pet fountain but when I checked I saw so much in the filter it was gross. I didn't use the fountain at all until after I won the war. (Just too gross and I wouldn't feel comfortable using the same filter, so I opted to not use it at all). Look around for exploded water jugs you may have kept for emergencies. Those explode and leak all the time. Found out the hard way. After taking care of the drains and constant cleaning pet water sources, these guys disappeared. Finally. Bananas are no longer welcome.

Not inexpensive, but very effective. Gets rid of fruit flies, drain flies, etc. fast. Works best if you plug them in and leave them plugged in. The light is quite bright and attracts the insects with no poisons, no odors. especially at night in the dark. I put mine down at about knee level in electric sockets in the kitchen and living room because they light is bright blue and a little hard on the eyes at eye level. When used this way, they also serve as night lights. There are refills available for these units.

This was extremely effective. Worked like a treat. It didn’t last. Unfortunately, the light just stopped working one day. Disappointed as it’s quite expensive.
