Mr. Beams Mb852 Indoor Wireless Slim Led Light With Motion Sensor Features, White, 2-Pack,Small

I got these to place under our kitchen cupboards to light the worksurface as when we're cooking and tying to read from the recipe book, we're always in our own shadow from the main kitchen lights.Unfortunately the Mr Beams really work best in a very dark room and as we have the main lights on at the same time the sensor fails to turn the light on unless you cover it fully with your hand. Not a fault of the product, more an issue with our kitchen.EDIT October 2015: It appears that placing these in high-traffic areas (like a kitchen) drains the batteries far quicker. The batteries only lasted about 3 months. I think for a kitchen a more robust solution such as mains wired LED lighting is more appropriate.Update 2021: We're only using one of the lights now. I'm not sure what happened to the other one, whether it broke or we didn't need it - it has been 6 years since I purchased them. However, the other one is still in daily use and functioning as it should, i'd like to add I'm glad I bought rechargeable batteries.

I used one fitting under a kitchen cupboard under which I keep the phone as it was very dark it’s brilliant can see the phone. I used the other one under the stairs where I have a cupboard again brilliant as soon as I open the cupboard door the light comes on. Would definitely recommend Mr. Beams.

Just the right size for use in a small shed. Brilliant light. Small enough to set in a corner of the shed and bright enough a night time to light up the inside of the shed. Batteries seem to las for some time and the sensor is just a little slow when entering the shed. I bought 2 . and they are both of great use in the 2 sheds I have.

I have a couple of Mr.Beams' products and am very happy with their operation. These little chaps in particular are very useful.I have one of them underneath the porch outside by the front door. Great for finding the lock in the dark, spreads a good even light and batteries have lasted well thus far (4 months and still going strong).I'd buy again.Update: April 2015. Still works very well. Haven't needed to change the batteries. Really pleased

Fitted to the ceilings of my upstairs and downstairs cupboards. Trigger when the room is dark and you then open the door triggering the motion sensor and do a good job of lighting. Not overly bright, but enough for I would say a small to medium cupboard.Looks fairly simple to swap the batteries over when the time comes too, over all I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend for similar places.
