Works really well for cutting fiberglass insulation

Its way better than a uility knife and board.

I’ve used it to cut and lay dozens of bats of fiberglass insulation and rock wool. It cuts quickly and cleanly and still seems sharp even after my 8th package of rock wool. Good purchase and I feel like I’ve already gotten my moneys worth out of it.

I use this to cut off spray foam in areas where my reciprocal blade couldn't reach. The blade itself is very flexible and allows you to cut with precision. The project of over, however the blade is still sharp, getting a lot of beating

Great knife for cutting polyurethane foam for a gun case. Previously tried using a hobby knife and thought I'd give this a try - Japanese are well known for the quality and genius of their hand tools. Works perfectly with the fine serrations using a controlled sawing motion. Some challenges with navigating tight turns but definitely better than the hobby knife. Won't buy again because it works so well and I don't need another...

Purchased two knives this one and the Grip Right with the red handle. Used the Grip Right after being 3/4 through the project and noted that the handle is inferior, the blade is too short, and the blade appeared to be dull. In short, this knife was head and shoulders superior to the Grip Right knife. I highly recommend this knife. Finally, I was a State Certified Residential Contractor for 30 plus years and know a quality tool when I see one!

The knife is nothing special. It’s just a kitchen knife that is serrated.

I had a lot of foam boards to cut through. This thing was the most effective tool i tried, and mostly didn't make me want to pull a van gogh while working with styrofoam.

Excellent knife, I've used it for an array of installation material, mostly for free handing around pipes or corners. It's extremely sharp so it's best to hold onto the sheeth. I've mostly used it on Fire protected batt and cuts happily all day. Would absolutely buy another, without a doubt.

I had previously tried several other knives & saws for cutting insulation with little success. This knife was a game changer and went through mineral wool insulation like a hot knife through butter. It's actually turned insulating the loft into a relatively easy job.

I bought this to cut through fiberglass insulation. Cuts it beautifully! Excellent knife.
