Love this perfume. Smells just like original. It is long lasting and uplifting. Some of the prior reviews indicated smell was not the same as original. To me it smells the same, weather or not original. I love it.

This is not the same basic instinct that I purchased from Victoria Secret, the fragrance is totally different. It doesn't last long and the one from Victoria Secret lasts all day. This is different

Basic Instinct Perfume
When Victoria Secret discontinued this perfume back in 2006 or something like that, I was devastated! It was the best smelling perfume ever! Then I recently saw it on Amazon and purchased the cologne. Well, it does not smell anything like the perfume (I purchased the perfume in body lotion back then) that I am used to. Amazon does offer the body lotion, but if I remember correctly, it was 2 -4 times the price of the cologne. I am wondering if the lotion smells different now as well.. I don't recommend this product if you are looking for a comeback from 2006. If you have never purchased it, then go for it.
