The Teaching of Action in String Playing

Paul Rolland was a revolutionary and brilliant teacher/pedagogy. I can't think of a better way to set up string students and help remedial students with physical and static tension by utilizing these actions and teaching pedagogy. This pedagogy can help students and professionals of all levels.

When combined with the Teaching in Action videos by Rolland this book is very helpful! There are courses offered that allow you to get certified in the teachings of Rolland and this book is a requirement.

Worth every penny.

Nice book!

This is NOT a paperback print edition. This is a cheap, plastic spiral bound copy. While the content of course is what are me buy this title I find it a gross misrepresentation of the format of the product. Not cool.

FantasticMuch needed. Gradual progression from one technique to the other. Very detailed I’m so happy to have found this. Probably the best method of teaching beginners technique out there.

...aber eine preiswertere brauchbare Alternative - komplett - ( Buchseiten sind kopiert, manche mit fast "leerer Druckerpatrone"...) des Standardwerks von Paul Rolland; kam allerdings leider mit einem leichten "Knick" im rückseitigen Umschlag an. Ärgerlich aber gerade noch verkraftbar.

This is not a review about the content, as I am sure there will be a lot of useful information, but for a £30 book I expected it would actually look like a proper book and not with a plastic spiral which very likely will brake over time… cheap print
