So far so good, one of the two works.
Not much to add here, other than how painlessly simple the replacement procedure was? I used latex gloves just to be sure, not to touch and leave bodily grease on the glass. One of the two works greatly so far. I prefer them light 24/7 and the first bulb ever lasted for about 14 months or so? Just reduce the times of turning these off and back on to a minimum. I only did 3 times, few power outages and lasted well, up until the last, 3rd manual shutoff, plugged the ballast back into the power outlet and the UV was gone for good, just that typical orange glow.Will update with this replacement, approximate 24/7 runtime in number of months in actual UV and if the second tube works. 5 stars here are for a tube that originally came with the filter system.
