Because I don’t like risking my new iPad to bumps or a drop I bought this inexpensive cover. It fits very well and looks expensive even at its lower cost. Although the iPads buttons are a bit too deep it still warrants a 5-star review. The pictures don’t do this cover justice! It’s actually quite attractive with the back of the case having a metallic feel and appearance. I bought the dark gray and it’d be nice if it had more color choices but I’d still probably buy the dark gray. The color gives the iPad a professional appearance that I like. I did drop my device once and it suffered no dings or scratches and the case remained firmly in place. Would purchase again and highly recommend!

The case does what it needs to do. It protects the iPad from dust, serves as a stand, and maybe a light drop. This isn’t meant as a really tough, drop-proof or water-proof case. Having the capability of attaching the Pencil is a plus. I do not have the Pencil, but it is nice that if I get it, I don’t have to change case.

I needed a simple case that I could use for my work iPad, and I didn’t want to spend too much. This case fit those needs perfectly! Simple, but effective. It holds well when the case is folded, the holes don’t affect use of the buttons or the speakers, and it does turn the iPad on and off when the cover is opened or shut. Overall, the case works well, adds a little extra protection, and was a great price. I doubt it will do much to protect if I drop the iPad, but that’s to be expected.

I grabbed this Soke black case for my iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd gen) mainly because it was under six bucks, and honestly, for that price, it’s hard to complain too much. It fits the iPad perfectly, the cutouts are accurate, and it does the job of protecting it from minor bumps and scratches. That said, the build quality isn’t great. After about two weeks of pretty careful use — just around the house and in a backpack sleeve — the cover already has visible scratches and scuffs. The finish looks nice at first, but it seems to mark up really easily. The edges also feel a bit flimsy compared to pricier cases I’ve owned. If you’re just looking for a cheap, temporary case or a backup, it’s totally fine. But if you want something that’ll still look good after a month or two, you might want to spend a bit more. Overall: great value for the price, but definitely not a “premium” feeling case. You get what you pay for — and in this case, that’s a decent budget cover with some cosmetic downsides.
