I took the battery to a repair centre and just paid labour for them to fit and it works like a charm. Was a bit worried that most of the reviews were via vine but honestly using my laptop now and my battery has stayed almost 100% on macbook pro. Great product, fast delivery and I would recommend.

The tools are supplied to make the fitting so easy. The only tricky bit was the tab on the cable that connected the battery to the MacBook.Even as a technophobe I managed to get the whole job done in under 15 minutes

Ordered this to replace the badly worn battery in my MacBook Pro. I'm reasonably confident with computer maintenance, so after a bit of research I bought this kit. Very well put together, the screwdrivers are decent quality. The only thing you have to supply is alcohol to dissolve the glue, and a little really goes a long way. The instructions are very clear, and as long as you follow them and take your time this really is very doable. Took me about 90 minutes start to finish, and my computer started straight up, and the "service recommended" notification was gone. Apple would've charged me over £400 for this, so I'm well pleased.

Switching out the battery in my MacBook is something I've hesitated to do. But with this, the transition was smooth. Post-installation, my laptop showed significant improvement in holding its charge. I've tackled day-long tasks without constantly reaching for the charger. The battery performance remained consistent even during heavier tasks.

I installed it following the instruction. The battery does not work first because the connection line to the motherboard does not work. I reattached the original battery and it charges and mac boots.However, the MAC is unusable due to high CPU usage from kernal_task, by checking the MAC community. It is caused by the high temperature of the battery.Since the old battery is already broken and the new battery is installed. Does not know I can request a refund.

Purchased this to replace the battery for the 2018 Macbook Pro. A bit fiddly to remove the original battery but once replaced, it works a charm. The battery holds a charge really well. I used it for 2 hours after full charge and it only lost about 15% of its capacity. So I am very happy with the purchase.

Installed it just a year ago, worked fine for like 10 months. Then it started showing some unusual features (laptop suddenly turning off) and bulging at the bottom of the laptop (due to swelling of the battery). Then the symptoms got worse, finally made it unable to start due to the malfunction of the battery. Took it to the apple store and they say it would cost £450 as they change the whole thing (upper panel with the key board and battery together as it is safer for them). It is not worth, so I replaced the battery again (from a different manufacturer) just now and will see how long this one will last. In short, poor lifetime, as it did not last more than a year (I could not claim 1 year warranty as when it stopped working 1 year just passed).

Took less than 15 min to change. Only one wire to connect by simply inserting it back in the same spot. Even if you know virtually nothing about computers, it's hard to mess this up. The two included screwdrivers were all the tools I needed.

I live in San Diego, I work for Uncle Sam (government) and this is not a fake review. The Battery was easy to install and only took 15 to 20 minutes. Although this battery came with the necessary tools, I used a previously-purchased $6 Rion Tech tool set to remove the special type of screws on the MacBook bottom and the battery since the Rion Tech tools are precision tools that won't strip and are really well-made for this task. Interestingly, as shown in the attached photo from the "Battery Health 2" app, the battery manufacture date is listed as Apr 1, 2015 (7.5 years old) but it's not clear if the battery has been sitting on a shelf for all this time or if the date shown is not accurate. For example, this third party battery would have needed to have been made the same year my 2015 MacBook Air was made...I can't verify the manufacture date one way or the other beyond what I see in the app. Regardless, the battery charges to 8,214 mAh which is 3% more than the rated 8,000 mAh, so having 103% health at the start of it's life is a good start for this battery. My MacBook keeps a solid charge when I store it unplugged in sleep mode (i.e. when I just close the lid), so the new battery is not losing charge overnight while it's just sitting there. The battery cycle count on my MacBook now shows as "1" and everything is working as it should. I obviously can't talk to longevity but so far, so good, and at cost of about $43, I'd buy this battery again without question.

Ausbau und Einbau durch das Video einfach verständlich. Nur mein alter Akku war sehr stark ins Gehäuse geklebt und ich habe den alten Akku echt am Ende fast mit Gewalt/Biegen entfernt.Habe den neuen Akku jetzt seit einem Monat in Betrieb und es ist einfach super.Endlich wieder lange den Mac nutzen :) Für den Preis echt top
