84 Sunbeam Microplush 2 Person Oversized Electric Heated Throw Blanket Mocha Brown

This was a Christmas present for my wife whose always cold. She's been known to use it at times in the summer, but no matter what the temperature is she loves the extra warmth it gives her. We've had two others throughout the years that have worn out so we knew what to expect. I struggled between giving this a 3 or 4 star and settled on 4 because it does work as expected with a nice range of "low", "medium", or "high" settings, over-sized, and fairly soft fabric. My struggle was for the price I was expecting a more plush (soft/cozy) product, and the 2-person designation is a little miss-leading.Because my wife was always having to share her blanket with two young boys and myself she requested a bigger blanket this time. The blanket is over-sized, but depending on how tall and wide the 2nd person is it may not truly be a 2-peron blanket. I'm 6'-2" (74"), and average weight so I don't take up a lot of space. By myself it's plenty long (84") and wide (50"). The problem is that when I'm sharing it with her (or I guess I should say, she's sharing it with me) we have to use the long side (84") as the width so now my feet are poking out. This isn't a huge issue, but I guess I just wasn't thinking that way when I read "2-person". Depending on the size of who your sharing it with it can actually fit more than two. If you're tall just know that your feet will poke out.Overall my wife is very happy. Other reviews have mentioned that the cord is a problem, and I would agree, but I haven't found a blanket yet that doesn't have a cord and thermostat that doesn't get in the way so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Just know that it can be a little cumbersome depending on the location of your plugin, and that if you're over 50" tall you're feet may poke out. We don't use it as a throw because the cord and thermostat do make it hard, but we didn't purchase it for that.

Loved this blanket until it died. I am tired of throwing my money away on engineered obsolescence.

I love this blanket!!!! I used it last year and now I am using it again this year! My cats love the heat, and with this blanket you don't need to put it past low. Most heated blankets are really hot on a low setting but this blanket is nice at low. let me tell you going through the change of life I get so darn cold and it blanket is great for that!

We have a love hate relationship if there are any bunches at all the heat does not distribute all over but its sooooo cozy when its spreadout in my bed.

Works well but really stinks when you get it out of the package and it is very thin. It's ok.

I got this for my husband because he has a lot of joint problems and finds relief in heat therapy. He is 6'1" and would always complain that there weren't any heating blankets big enough so I was very happy to find this "oversize" blanket. He was super excited to try it and after about seven months of use we give it a 5! No complaints :)

Works great! At first we didn't care for the auto off feature, but after a while I learned to appreciate it.

This blanket was nice and soft but you can fill all the wires I thought I could live with that but when it didn’t even hit it heat up I knew it was going back.

Mine doesn't heat evenly... the corner don't even seem to work.That being said I like the material it's made of, soft and easy to clean.
