Worth reading
The whole set caught my imagination right from the start, to me theres an obvious irish/Scottish flavour which brings something different and refreshing as I can identify with, so I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Good read
I really enjoyed these books. Lively action and credible characters. My preference would have been for one or two volumes so the flow of the story wasn't broken so much

Poorest instalment so far
Not sure how many new readers start on book 6 in a series but for some reason the author has decided to re-tell the previous highlights but not in a recap at the beginning but every time one of our characters returns somewhere that they’ve been before! Easily the best part of 20-30 pages that have no real reason to be there. 6 books in & not one enemy has died, they always manage to escape.

The continuing saga...keep it going
This is the sixth book in the series and I have read every one with pleasure.

It OK but keeps repeating itself!
It's a good overall story but it seems half of it is repeating info and details of previous events that you already know about!

Mmmm! Not Sure
Though I have read all six not sure I enjoyed this book all seem to to have a certain amount of copy and paste as identical passages appear in different books in the series, there doesn’t seem to be a plan of an ending. I will look out for the next book?

VERY GOOD READ
Very rarely read a series of books longer then 3 or 4 at the most, get board so I drop them. NOT this series, looking forward to starting book 7 and continuing on from there. This story has captured my interest!!!

Another winner
The saga nears its end and the excitement continues. Thomas has claimed his birthright as the Lord of the Highlands. His confrontation with the Shadow Lord comes ever closer and I cannot wait to read about it.

Brilliant as always.
An intriguing plot, read the whole book in 1 sitting. I'm just waiting for the next one to come out and I would recommend this book to everyone who likes adventure.

I can’t put this story down.
In the realm of the fight by good against evil Peter Wacht has written a sublime tale with many twists. I read to escape the day-to-day drudgery—this is a great escape.

Good story
The story line is good, with characters that are easy to care about. Definitely a good series to read. However, the tendency to repeat explanations grows tiresome by this book in the series. I felt like a good 40% of the book was repeating background information that was unnecessary. It's understandable that the author would not want any readers who didn't read the previous books to be lost, but it is most frustrating to have to re-read so much to get to the story's continuation. I'd rather each book build upon the story and not try to be a stand alone book by itself.
