I used the exact batteries they recommend and the settings they recommend to get up to 120 days of footage. I got 10 days and did not get the last two days of work recorded. Fortunately it was minor. (the batteries were fully charged and were used before, so they were not defective) The video is outstanding and the ease of use is pretty good, but don't leave it on its schedule for more than a week.

All the other cameras we looked at used wifi or cloud services which we really weren’t comfortable with. This camera is a good monitoring device if you want an extra set of eyes but you want to make sure those eyes are only your own. Set up was easy and we were ready to go in under 10 minutes. Just be warned, this camera only records time lapses and cannot record video, because of that I can only give 4 stars.

Works pretty good the battery life is great ,I have yet to get this camera to do time lapse for eight hours it usually drops out after about 4 to 5 hours

Straight from Amazon box delivery, original batteries install, setup recording times and install on job site. After 2 months take down to check and one of battery failed. Acid from this battery damage circuit board in extension battery box and motherboard in camera. Not more power from new battery install and when I connect USB cable power is on in camera but after showing on screen name Brinno is shot down and no other switches works to start anything more. It's no odder way to start this camera. I record only 2 month of slideshow, and this is all, this camera is dead.

I set up the camera four times, once by their instructions.. didn't record as expected. Used the "scheduled" recording... Never recorded. Used the "continuous" recording... Never recorded. Hit the record button and let it run on no fps synchronization... nothing but lines. Put it on 60mhz synchronization... still lines. Lights got turned off while recording... Nothing but speckled rainbow dots. Returning, full refund.
