Must have!
First thing; I'm a big fan of Lilly brushes. They are awesome for removing pet hair from furniture. Second, I have used the flat, squeegee-looking Lilly brush to remove hair from clothing and it is effective but can get a little difficult to use while trying to hold the piece of clothing flat. This brush was JUST what I was hoping for to make that process much easier with the same great results. I love the compact design because I can just pop it into a pocket in my bag and have it ready when I notice inevitable stray pet hair on my shirt or pants. The bristles are fine but firm and really capture hair and lint super easily. As far as I'm concerned, this is a must-have for pet owners. I love it!

Works best on natural fibers
I bought the Lilly brush (not discounted) and tried it on several sweaters. I couldn't get it to work and gave it a low rating. Subsequently I received a kind email from the company that provided specific instructions on how to use the brush. With this helpful information, I tried again.Per their email, the brush works best on natural fibers. I tried it on cotton, wool and some other fine knots. In situations without major fuzz, it worked really well. If the sweater was very fuzzy, it did not remove the fuzz completely (only a shaver will probably do that) but it did a nice job of surface improvement. The company clarified that the brush is not as suitable for synthetic fibers, which is why I had trouble initially. Also the brush is quite small (as others have mentioned). Maybe a larger size could also be introduced in the future.Instructions in or on the box would also be very helpful.[EMAIL BELOW]Dear Name-We saw on the feedback and customer review page that you were not at all happy with your purchase, and I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you to see if I could be helpfulwith tips on how to use Lilly Brush.SWEATERS: As advertised, Lilly Brush is a sweater brush for 100% natural fiberknits. If there is a percentage of nylon or acrylic content in the sweater, those fibers are longer and stronger than the more delicate cashmere, cotton wool, etc. fibers, and thusmust be torn, cut, sanded or shaved from affected garments. I am wondering if this is why the Redecker brush is more satisfactory to your purposes? Our concern is that it is a little too robust for a fine cashmere or cotton knit.LINT: If you are using Lilly Brush as a lint brush, and the climate is dry, ithelps to dampen LB slightly to resolve static issues which can otherwise pullremoved lint and hair back onto the garment. When using LB as a lint brush, brush up and down as you would with a sticky roller. This allows fur, etc. togather itself into an easily removable roll on the surface of the brush. If furand lint can't be cleaned from the bristles manually, rinse the brush and tap, bristles down, on the side of the sink. This will dislodge any remainingdetritus. Please allow the brush to dry fully before closing it back in itscase.RETURNS:Of course, if you would prefer to return the product, we will gladlyrefund your money. I note that you say you already returned the product, but we show not a single return since we began selling on Amazon. I am concerned that yours has not been noted. Please let me know how we can help you. It is most important to us at Lilly Brush is that you are happy! Please feel free to email questions or requests to me at [e-mail address removed].Thanks for your time,Elsie HamiltonPresident, Lilly Brush Co., LLC

You need this if you have a pet!
This little brush is amazing! It has picked up the pet hair from every material in my house so far (three cats). It does pet beds (even those pesky ones that seem to trap the hair in the fibers), the couch, pillows, blankets and the main reason I bought it...clothes. But the reason I call this amazing is how much it cleans those pet beds and the couch even when vacuuming them didn't do the best job. Get this, you'll love it!

I thought it would be a miracle product that removed fur like magic, but sadly that was not the case
I had very high hopes for this brush seeing as how I have four indoor cats, each of them with different degrees of shedding. I thought it would be a miracle product that removed fur like magic, but sadly that was not the case. I followed all the instructions, but I didn't see a big dramatic catching of fur. I bought this to avoid buying lint roller after lint roller, but really, at least they've proven to work time and time again. I think it might be because I bought the smaller size one and it doesn't have that great of an oomph, but after this experience, I don't have the confidence to invest in the larger one in hopes that it works. I have only every used it on clothes, but even that seems like too big a task for this brush which is a great disappointment. I gave it a few tries, but it takes a long process of brushing over and over for the bristles to pick up any fur and once my hand is tired and I've given up, I can still see fur on my clothes. Now it's just catching dust somewhere in my room. I might give it another chance soon, but I've had it for a few months and I haven't had the urge to go through that tedious process again.I love the idea of this product and am honestly delighted that it worked for some of the people that bought it, but for me it didn't. Because of that, I honestly do not recommend people buying this product. I feel the money could be better spent on a fur catching device that does as promised. I have sadly not found such a device (other than lint rollers that run out too quickly), but I am still searching. I'll put up with the fur of my lovely cats until that day comes. If this review was helpful to you at all, please let me know by clicking 'yes' on this review.

Not impressed.
This is definitely no "magic wand" as the package claims. It does improve the look of sweaters but not that much and not without significant amount of work. A quick brushing won't do much. You've got to really work at it in order to make any difference. It seems to me that any stiff bristled brush would probably do the same thing. So save yourself some money and go buy a $5 hair brush.Additional comments:I wrote the above review just after receiving the Lilly Brush. Now I've had it for several months and I can tell you that it's definitely not worth the money. It works ok for lint and pet hair but not at all for sweat pills. In fact, if you brush hard enough to get rid of pills, you actually add fuzz to the sweater which quickly becomes more pills! I recently bought a hand held sweater shaver by Remington for $8 and wow, what a difference! Buy one of those sticky tape lint brushes and a sweater shaver. Those two combined are probably as much as this silly brush and will do a MUCH better job!

I Love It !!!
This little brush is fantastic! I have a cat that sheds like crazy, especially on the bedspread and until now I couldn't find anything to remove the hair. With the lilly brush all the hair comes off so easily and can be used brushing in either direction. Easy to clean and works very well on removing pills on sweaters as well. Fantastic little product and well priced. Highly recommended, you won't go wrong with this little gem. I love it!!

Impressive
Great product, kinder than the battery shaving type. Pleased with the improvement with an all wool jumper.
