I absolutely love the African Pride Moisture Miracle Hydrate & Hold Curl Defining Gel. It’s lightweight, clean, and dries clear—no flakes, no crunch, just beautifully defined curls. What a relief!! I have been thru soooo many products trying to find what works... either too sticky, gummy, or drying. African Pride works nicely and I didn't need to add a bunch of other products. No flaking, great hold, no scent and worth every dime!! Angie

As you can see by the photo. The Curl Defining Gel, is spilled over into the box. Look closely at the other 2 items. They are covered in plastic. If the gel had been covered in plastic, I might be writing a different review. The plastic would have protected the lid from popping off, and wasting some of my gel. There also wasn't any of that blown up packaging filler in the box, either. That added cushion, could have possibly protected the lid from popping off as well. I gave it 3 stars, and not 1 star, because I was able to salvage majority of it, and the jar wasn't broken.

When I received the product, it had clearly been opened and wasn’t sealed.

I have 2c curls and this is my favourite gel. I can put a lot and I do not ever get a cast (I have nothing against a cast btw). It gives good and bouncy curls.

Ich liebe dieses Gel. Es lässt die Haare nicht nass aussehen und halt die Locken in ihrer Form, ohne sie auszuhärten. Es ist nicht zu schwer für die Haare und dafür, dass ich damit über 2 Monate hinkomme (Nutzung 4x in der Woche), ist es mir auch egal, dass es im nasszustand ein wenig "chemisch" riecht, wobei ich das jetzt auch nicht wirklich stark empfinde.

C’est vrai que ce produit est nourrissant mais il fait ce qu’on l’appelle « flaking » en anglais. Quelle déception.
