Very handy gadget for running in a few bricks
It's a very handy gadget for running in a few bricks midway along a wall. As long as it's half-brick wall or you can get to the back of a one-brick wall (two bricks running parallel to each other). It takes seconds to set up. Just clamp it an inch or two short of it's final position, tie string on to both ends and then move one of the clamps out an inch or so and the line really tightens up. Make sure you get good string though - the bit that the seller included is not what you need.

Good for standard bricks and blocks
These are quite useful if you're working with standard (metric or imperial) bricks, or 100mm blocks. The only negative is the string retaining clip doesn't quite work - you can file it out to get the string in the clip, or just use a couple of half-hitches around the whole peg. For any blocks larger (block on flat, coping) - the width is too large for these.
