Easy Amigurumi: 28 crochet doll patterns (Sayjai's Amigurumi Crochet Pattern)

This is a good book for beginners learning Amigurumi, or just wanting simpler projects. FYI, you can screen print any/all pages as needed. Author provides clear instructions and estimates of yarn needed. Even without the feet on the Pillow Pals (preferred). The Pillow Pals use #5 bulky or chunky yarn; the Duckies use #3 weight yarn and the rest of the smaller projects use #2 fingering weight yarn. The smaller patterns could easily be adjusted to #4 worsted weight and larger hook (would be bigger). I found the Pillow Pals to be harder to downsize to #4 yarn without getting a much smaller pillow. You do need to have basic crochet skills and understand pattern reading. This is not a book on teaching/learning crochet. This book is less expensive than purchasing the different collections separately. For those that are used to making more complex Amigurumi projects, you might find this little book boring. Good buy and price!

I bought this book when I first started crocheting so I could learn something new. I was not disappointed. I made the dog pillow pal for my one nephew and the duck pillow pal for my other nephew. The patterns work very fast and are very clearly written. I am in the process of making three dozen of the eggs in the book for a toddler friendly Easter egg hunt for my niece and nephew.Whether you are a beginner like I was or someone who has been crocheting for years, this book is definitely worth adding to your collection.

I love the looks of these little toys, but I don't understand what kind of eyes you can use that won't hurt baby if swallowed!! I've had this book for a little while. I really struggled with the instructions and I have been crocheting for over 40 years. But I find if you count sc in every row, it comes out ok. Constant counting! Now, I have one almost done and I still don't know what kind of eyes would be safe for my great grandson due in September!Help!!

Great projects and kids love 'em. I am not a superb crocheter and I had no trouble creating these cute gifts.

Good and easy to make but she repeats these patterns in other books so be careful of your choices.

This is the best Amigurumi book I have. The patterns are super easy, and the projects can be completed in a few hours. I crocheted the small frog, dog, and am in the process of finishing the butterfly. Wish there were more books like this.

Wow, I love it!! I have tried the animals and made a set for Room on the Broom, and trying the doll at the moment (although I am using DK). I have found the patterns really easy to follow and not too complicated, like some amigurumi patterns. I love the added information for attaching the eyes and body parts as this is where mine normally start looking a little demented!!

The kindle version of the book is great but the layout is a little off and there is a mistake for the frog pattern! But otherwise a good book, simple straight forward patterns.
