Childhood memories
Enjoyed Dels lemonade as a child in RI. Hard to found outside of RI, having access to the mix is awesome.

YUM
Can't beat Del's!! While not as great as getting it in person from Del's, it's still delicious! (especially if you add a little rum or vodka to it! :)

very similar to the original
either double the amount of mix you use, or half the amount of water in order to get the same level of sweetness. having a good blender helps with the texture of the ice too!

Did something change?
Did something change from now until 10 years ago? I don’t remember tasting like this. If anything they changed something and it taste horrible now. Like he doesn’t even have much of a flavor if anything, and I used to get to take home powder all the time in Rhode Island and I don’t remember ever being like this. I’m gonna have to get the lemon flavor and hope that that’s still the same. Nothing beats getting it freshly made with real lemons and everything but I do remember the powder mix wasn’t that bad.

Not the Same
I’ve been a Del’s fan for many years. As soon as I get to Newport, I seek it out. Unfortunately, making up this package in the blender did not give me the same experience. I followed the directions, but it just wasn’t as good.

Not quite like the store bought, but close enough
The kids love getting the real Dels from the portable wagon at the farmers market all summer. This is an acceptable substitute. I don't have a good ice crusher to make consistent fine slush so I rely on my blender which ends up a bit more watery. That's okay. The kids like it and that's good enough.
