I'm giving it 5 stars because one of the 4 settings is amazing and so much better than the great tens unit I own. No more buying replacement pads. You just put it on and it's perfect for entire lower back. Tip: nowhere does it tell you how to moisten the four contact points with water. I tried several ways and finally came up with a small spray bottle filled with water. Spray the device and your back, strap it on, and you're good to go. Some issues I wish they'd fix: 1. The LED display is small and not backlit. You're best off counting rather that trying to see it when it's on you. Fortunately, it remembers the message setting. The only one I think is any good is "C". As long as you don't touch the right side button, it comes up as "C" when you turn it on. Then you increase intensity with top left button. 2. I have an average sized waist and it just barely fits. It has an extender that makes it way big. Better design would solve this. Surprises: 1. Battery life is phenominal. I'm still using the original batteries and I've used it a lot. 2. I wake up at night often with intense back pain. I find I can sleep with it on. When I wake up, it takes less than a minute to get it going. Makes it easy to get back to sleep. The money you save in not having to buy new tens unit pads, combined with ease of use, makes this a no brainer for those with lower back pain. It pays for itself quickly and seems very durable. I think it will work for years even with me using it almost daily.

Product appears well made. I have a clip on TENS unit with dual controls and multiple, sticky back electrodes. I also get treated with a large, medical - grade model at my chiropractor. Both work well but the electrodes on the clip on model are difficult to maintain good skin contact unless strapped down with a weightlifer belt around my waist / lower back. If you have poor contact, the electrodes will arc. Though not painful per se, the arcing is uncomfortable. The tingling of this item is more like arcing. No matter what I did, I just couldn't get past the arching. I had really looked forward to this technology, however, it resulted in a big disappointment. Hate giving bad reviews but it's my honest opinion. Returning item tomorrow.

I was using Icy Hot Smart Relief Hip & Back for the last couple years. I have 2 units and have maintained with battery changing and refill pads. I have intense lower back and sciatic pain almost every day. I was having terrible finding refills. I guess they don’t make them anymore. Feeling annoyed that the only pack of 2 refil pads I could find were being sold for the ridiculous price of $52, i searches for an alternative. The belt arrived early yesterday afternoon. Let me tell you. Everything about this was easy. I didn’t read the instructions to wet the electrodes. I used it dry at first and was so pleased at the variety of settings. The intensity changes with the cycle. I’m excited to try the different cycles. It offered almost immediate relief. It’s also very comfortable. Although it’s not discrete like the icy hot tens, it’s way more effective and covers a much bigger area! Excellent product! Worth every penny!

Easily works by wetting the contact areas. Some choices of settings don’t feel like they go high enough for me and I am a lightweight pain-wise. The A setting can give you a jolt ½ way through when it jumps way up in intensity. Press the down button for 2 secs to lower it down. Not sure why they did that. Also odd that if you change the program before it runs the time out, it starts beeping and going up one level of intensity until the max or you stop it at your comfortable level. The main thing I wanted to mention is that this rig is fairly bulky. Your are not going to wear it out and about under your clothes! I thought about trying to strip it down but don’t want to risk it. If you want to wear a unit under your street clothes - look elsewhere, otherwise this works well for a sit down or lay down TENS unit. Well made and glad I don’t have to worry about accidentally pulling out a cable or wiring.

I have been using TENS devices for about 4 years now and I have always been skeptical about the belts. This was only my second TENS belt and it wasn't bad at all! I like how there was a wide range of intensities and so depending on how I'm feeling I could use that to my preference. It's made from the same material as those weight loss belts and so it was pretty comfortable. I didn't need any gel or anything so that was a nice change. I haven't had a chance to use the programs, kind of did my own timing and intensities. So far so good. The electric device also detaches so you can wash the belt separately. It gave me the same relief as some of my $100+ products, which was surprising. Will update this review as I continue to use it!! I've purchased the Roscoe Relief System before and it wasn't bad, however, I like how this product came ready to use out of the box, only needed to insert batteries. Very simple and portable. It came with some adhesive that I didn't know what to do with, but all else I really liked the product. It was pretty self explanatory. It also fits my dad with the expanded belt it comes with which is a huge plus!

The product suddenly stopped working after a few uses for no reason. I only lightly used it a couple of times but then it stopped working when I tried to use it again. The screen is working but other than that it is not functioning anymore. Wanted to request to return the item but was so busy when I finally got the time, the app says that I missed the return closing time. I think those devices should be under an extended warranty period to assure that it is functional and doesnt stop working for no reason after a few uses.

Sadly stopped working after a couple weeks so I had to return it. This brand seems wellknown for these machines so maybe I just got a faulty product. Might try again with this brand in the future :) I will note that the electricity immediately turns off if not fully in contact with skin, so that makes it hard to adjust on your back or use on different parts of the body compared to other tens belts.

Even setting to max level but still little to no feeling from the TENS. Does not work. Refunded right away.
