Chatelet Hard+ Hardside Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Angora, Carry-on 21 Inch

I just used this luggage for the first time when I bought it 3 years ago and let me say, I am impressed with how much space is in this! I went on a 2wk vaca and it definitely held many outfits, a blanket, a couple of towels and a few sweaters just in case. For functionality I love how smooth the wheels roll, and I love the unlock/lock feature for the wheels so that way my luggage doesn’t roll around when I don’t need it too. The handle is also very adjustable! I also like the TSA lock for extra security (and for peace of mind since it was my first time flying). I also love how it looks! It looks very luxurious and expensive and to me it gives ✨rich✨ But what matters is proper function and space ❤️ I definitely recommend buying this! Oh! And the description may say “carry-on” but make sure you check with your preferred/assigned airline for space requirements for carry-ons since this is more luggage size and not carry-on. (Also check the dimensions of this luggage in the description as well) The durability is also very good with this luggage as well, the only thing I got on my luggage was scrapes from other luggages or misc reasons. (It’s bound to happen with other peoples luggage in the back of the plane) OH! And another thing, it’ll come with 1 foldable red hanger and 2 bags, one small and one medium sized red bags. The inside is exactly what is pictured as well.

I saw this on Black Friday at a great price and snatched it up to go with a matching 24” piece I already own. This carry-on size in the Champagne color had been sold out everywhere for a while, so when I saw it appear on Black Friday for a discounted price, I was prepared for a knock-off or less than perfect item. Looks like it checks out! It certainly looked legit with Delsey tags and booklets, but I did call and check the serial number just to be sure. I rated 5 stars because it’s exactly what I have been looking for...I already know I like it. The quality is fantastic and worth the investment for my needs. If you’re unfamiliar with the Chatelet line, they are not “lightweight” or expandable, but for my travel needs, those were not the most important attributes. The quality is fantastic and the piece is BEAUTIFUL. I use a clear luggage cover when checking the bag to protect from scuffs. I took a matching piece to Europe, and after several times being checked, the scuffs weren’t terrible, but I had to work much harder than expected to remove them. (Because the scuffs we’re settled down into the tiny texture.) I’ve traveled air, car, and train with a Chatelet Champagne piece and am very, very happy I invested in nice-looking, quality luggage. (None of the “leather” is real leather. I think I’ve seen it described incorrectly in some listings. The faux-leather is easy to clean and seems to resist watermarks and stains.)

*** Update: flew Anerican this weekend and used my Delsey to carry on. American's carry on specs are 22×9×14. With wheels this was a hair over 22" but I had no trouble carrying it on. They ran out of overhead bin space on one leg of my trip and forced me to check it. The cover I bought did not fit, so I had no cover on it this trip. It faired well, but obviously the white shows every mark. I will be buying a new cover for it...just in case!!! Otherwise, still loving my suitcase! Original review: This is a beautiful piece of luggage. With the wheels, it is on the taller end for carry ons. Will work as a carry on on Southwest and couple others. I travel domestically quite a bit with Southwest, so this fits my needs, but will need another suitcase if I use an airline that requires a 21" case. The suitcase rolls really nicely and the handle slides easily. The interior is a beautiful red color and the fabric lining is very nice quality. I love that it has zip enclosures on both sides and great pockets. Comes with two bags for shoes or dirty laundry and a hanger with a place to hang items in the case! Very good quality case. I am extremely pleased with my purchase!

This is not only beautiful, it is very well designed and made. The zippers work well. The locks operate well. I absolutely love how the liners separate the 2 sides and secure the contents of the sides completely. They roll very well. I didn’t need to use the break, but I’m sure it works great. The handle raises smoothly, though I would like it to be a bit taller. I bought white and it did get pretty scuffed up on our first trip. I waited until I got home to clean it. Most of the marks came off with little effort. But some would not. I even used a toothpick to clean between the ridges. It was a process. Took me about an hour to clean 2 suitcases. My suitcases do not look brand new, but the don’t look bad either. The only improvement I have is to change the texture of the outer shell of the suitcase. It is hard plastid with a sharp ridge pattern. Every time my knee or ankle hit the suitcases, it scraped my skin off. A couple times I was actually bleeding. So wear heavy long pants when you travel with these. I suggest jeans. The suitcases scraped my bare legs and when I wore my yoga pants. OUCH! We primarily travel to tropical areas so this will be an ongoing problem for us. I docked a star because of the battle wounds I received on our trip.

I bought this suitcase a few years ago. It has remained elegant despite many trips. So I bought this from Amazon, to keep! The suitcase is not only beautiful to look at, it is also very functional. The inside has zipper covers on both sides. It moves easily. I just love it.

Very good quality for a fashionable carryons. Passes the standard of airline cabin carryons. Have used it multiple times on multiple airlines. The dirt/scuffs/stains can be easily wiped off with Mr Clean magic eraser. Easy handling & maneuverability. Price point: overpriced & overrated.

I love the look and and it’s functionality.

We purchased two of these suitcases. They are very well made, look great. I have never had strangers at an airport comment how nice the luggage looks. They did get a little dirty and scuffed by the airport baggage handling equipment, but they cleaned up easily with a cloth wipe, or a magic eraser for the tough spots. More importantly, my wife loves them Happy wife, happy life. They loose just one star, because they do get scuffed a bit by the equipment. I am very pleased with this luggage.
