These are great for keeping my senior cat warm when he wants to sleep in the garage on nights that are just a bit chilly. They warm up quickly and the cover keeps them from being too hot to lounge on. I have two that I use to keep the entire bed space warm so he can stretch out if he wants. Good investment.

Not just for pets
I got my first one of these at a yard sale about 5 yrs ago, it is still working great. I have purchased these as gifts. I just ordered another for myself and one for a friend. Last week I recommended it to a worker in my doctors office as she is always cold at her desk job. I use the snuggle safe all winter in bed. I don't want an electric heating pad. Disposable heating pads are too expensive and don't last. Snuggle safe is eco friendly, easy to clean, and simple to use. It lasts all night and is still warm in the morning. Its behind my back in the computer chair now, still warm after 12 hours. Great when a family member is sick and can't warm up. Use in the car, or at meetings, sports events, anywhere you are going sit. It is great for sedentary elderly relatives, or those with chronic diseases. It could be marketed for more general purposes. I don't even have a dog. The price is reasonable for something that works this well. The only mistake you could make is to raise the price just to increase profits. You have a great product that would benefit many, especially those in the older population. I hope you don't tinker with it. The color is perfect, the covers are fine. My first one had no cover, I found a square quilted bag, like an envelope, made to microwave potatoes and I still use that. Most importantly, don't get greedy.

My guinea pig LOVES it.
This thing is awesome. I put it in the microwave for exactly 3 minutes, and it stays warm for about 4-5 hours (certainly not 10 hours like they advertise). I put it in its cover under his fleece bedding, and he snuggles up to it. (See the orange lump in the photo? That’s my guinea pig, Sparky. He gets under his orange blankie and will stay there for a while.) His cage is next to a window, and I worry about cold drafts in the winter. This is a great solution. Like the directions say, make sure the SnuggleSafe is completely cooled before reheating it again. Also, I’d suggest putting something in between the warming pad and your fur baby— not just the cover it comes with— in case it gets too hot. Highly recommend.

So warm and cozy and it lasts for hours!
I borrowed one of these from local animal shelter recently when I was fostering two small puppies since the weather is getting chilly at nights and we don't keep our house above 66 during nights. I heated it up for 5 minutes at full power, wrapped it with a pillow case (without it, you could burn yourself and puppies) and put it under the puppies in their bed with their blankets around 9:30 PM and when I took them out the first thing in the morning, 9 hours later, it was still warm!!! My hubby liked it so much, he wanted one for our dog. I think he really wanted one for himself. The one thing I don't care for is that it says not to heat it again until it's completely cooled but sometimes I just don't have the time to wait. What if it's 9PM and I need to put the puppies to bed and I want to heat up the pad but it's still warm - do I have to wait few hours for it to be completely cooled before I could heat it again? But I guess that's all about timing. I just got one for our house yesterday and let's see how long it will last - hopefully more than one winter!

Is it warm enough?
Got this because I had 4 bottle babies that I needed to keep warm throughout the night. Its convenient to just pop in microwave and put in their bedding. I was told to use a sock with rice as a warmer (please don't hound me) and that worked fine, it just didn't last long which led me to buy this product. My kittens did NOT lay directly on it. I don't know if it was because it was hard and not comfy, or they didn't feel the warmth. It does recommend to place a blanket over it and when I did, I couldn't feel the warmth. When you held it in your hands you can feel it slightly but not much and it would hold that warm for several hours. I then used both sock&rice and this product and the kittens always went to lay on or around the sock. So based on the kittens reaction, they did not care for this product. I never saw them lay on it or even near it. They were always on the sock. FYI I microwaved it according to my microwave wattage so I followed directs, kittens didn't like it! But it did hold the warm, that I will say was a good thing but it didn't make a difference to the kittens.

My first impression was wrong...
When I received this, I thought it was way too hard and that my cat would never use it. Boy, was I wrong! My cat LOVES this thing. I heat it up for her in the morning before I leave for work and place it under her favorite blanket. The heat comes through the thin blanket just fine and she enjoys laying on top of it. I also heat it for her before I go to bed at night. It stays warm for an AMAZINGLY long time, too - like hours and hours. My cat is older so I think the heat helps her with any pain she might be having. I realize all cats are different, but I can honestly say this has been a fantastic purchase for my pet and I am very satisfied.

Old dog loves it
This works so well! Our old dog absolutely loves it. I haven’t seen her look so comfortable in years. It holds it heat well and I am so glad we bought it. Definitely recommend for old dogs.

A-Maz-Ing for foster kittens
I got this for a litter of 4 bottle-fed foster kittens and it was perfect. I heated it WITHOUT THE COVER for 6 minutes, put the cover back on (it's a little hot bare) and then placed it under blankets for the kitties to sleep on. They always gravitated to it and it was still warm in the morning. it's easy to wipe down and the cover is easy to clean. Make sure to dry on delicate or air dry as others have said it can melt in higher temps and I can imagine how that could happen. It's a fantastic device.
