I ordered it 3 times , 2 replacements were sent, both were leak, 2nd replacement was sent even without the original box, i wish i could upload the pictures here, but it doesn't allow pictures like other websites. then amazon sent the 3rd one as well, it was also leak and the box was damaged. they offered me a refund and if i wish to re-order, i am not going to order this anymore. a kettle which leaks water and runs on electricity, is extremely dangerous and risky in my opinion. and hence i will not order it anymore.

Item received in good working condition. Just find that it takes a bit long to bring full capacity to boil.

This was supposed to help us to boil water while doing other things esp in the morning. Unfortunately, we have to hold the switch that makes the water boil so that we can have a hot water. Very disappointed with the brand 🤨 as it seems quality for this device was poorly made. Even a 1 star rate is not worth it 👎🏻

This is the third Braun kettle I've had in something like 15 years. It's not brand loyalty, more it's a really good kettle and value for money. Kettles in our house get a lot of use too.

Bisher war der Rowanta Milano mein Lieblingswasserkocher. Rowenta BV 150831 Milano 1,7 Liter . Leider fehlen bei dessen Füllstandsmarkierung 0,5 und 1,5 L - das ist aber die benötigte Wassermenge für meine Bodum Teebereiter. Ansonsten bin ich nach wie vor überzeugt von dem Kocher. Nun stieß ich - wieder - auf den Braun Wasserkocher. Wir hatten früher schon mal einen und mittlerweile ist er optisch verändert worden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Braun AquaExpress! Für mich ist die Sicherheit am wichtigsten - ich brauche einen Wasserkocher, der sofort abschaltet, wenn man ihn anhebt und nicht erst nach dem Ende des Aufkochens. Und das tut nur wenige Geräte, auch bei Markengeräten ist das nicht selbstverständlich. Was ich nicht nachvollziehen kann, denn ich gehöre zu den Leuten, die zu ungeduldig sind, das bereits blubbernde Wasser noch länger weiter kochen zu lassen, bis endlich die Abschaltautomatik auslöst. Wartet man diesen Zeitpunkt nicht ab, kocht das Gerät wieder los, auch wenn man es geleert hat. Dann springt zwar als Notfallsicherung der Leerlaufschutz an, so daß der Kocher letztlich doch abgeschaltet wird. Aber mir ist das zu unsicher. Ich bevorzuge also einen Kocher, der schon beim Hochheben abschaltet, egal wann, unabhängig vom Kochen. Weitere Wünsche: Eine Leuchte soll anzeigen, daß gerade Strom fließt. Außerdem soll er Power haben und 1,7 L Wasser möglichst schnell zum Kochen bringen. Hochwertige Verarbeitung, kein Billiggerät. Ausreichend langes Kabel mit Aufrollmöglichkeit in der Basis. Es darf mir kein Wasser über die Hände laufen, wenn der Deckel geöffnet wird und der Deckel soll auch weit aufgehen. Das tat auch der der Rowenta, aber der Braun ist m.E. in mehrfacher Hinsicht sogar noch besser: - liegt noch besser in der Hand, wenn man ihn anhebt, da die "Kerbe" oben an der Griff-Innenseite sehr ergonomisch ist und dafür sorgt, daß einem der schwere Kocher nicht so schnell aus der Hand rutscht und man ihn besser greifen kann (der Rowenta hatte dafür einen gummierten Griff) - unempfindliches (gegen Wassertropfen "immun"), stumpfes Material am und um den Griff - perfekte beidseitige Wassermengen-Skala mit erhobenen Markierungen und hilfreichen Wasserständen (für uns als Teetrinker mit verschieden großen Bodum Teebereitern ist das ideal: 0,5 / 1,0 und 1,5 sind vorhanden) - V.D.E.-GS Siegel für geprüfte Sicherheit(!) und nicht nur das schnöde CE Zeichen - noch etwas größeres Einfüll-Loch, so daß man relativ problemlos einen schmalen Wasserstrahl in den Kocher hineinlaufen lassen kann, ohne den Deckel öffnen zu müssen (geht beim Rowenta auch) - sehr schicke Form mit spitzem Auslauf - es gießt sich super damit, weil der Strahl schmaler ist und man das Wasser so zielgenauer verteilen kann - entnimmt man den Kalkfilter (Sieb) am Auslauf, hat man nach dem Öffnen des Deckels null Hindernisse beim Befüllen und eine riesige Öffnung (eben der ganze Durchmesser des Kochers) - so kann beim Befüllen am Wasserhahn nichts daneben gehen Der Aqua Express ist wirklich ein gelungener Wasserkocher - sicher, tolles Design, hochwertige Haptik und sehr komfortabel in der Bedienung! Allerdings springt der Deckel auf Knopfdruck nicht immer auf, sondern man löst nur den Verschluss und muß dann den Deckel selbst hochziehen. Das klappt beim Rowenta besser; dort geht der Deckel auf Knopfdruck fast ganz auf (die Öffnung reicht meistens schon). Und noch ein ganz kleiner Kritikpunkt: Der Rowenta Milano (hat 200 Watt mehr) kocht 1,7 L noch schneller auf. Der Braun braucht etwas länger. Da ich es nicht so eilig habe, stört es mich aber nicht, denn der Braun kocht für mein Empfinden immer noch schnell. Ich habe mal mit einem Küchentimer die Zeit gestoppt, die der Braun bis zum blubbernden Kochen benötigt: 1 Liter (ca.) braucht (ca.) 3 Min u. 15 Sek. Ein guter halber Liter Wasser kocht nach ca. 1,5 Minuten. Und ca. 1,7 Liter sind in ca. 6 Min. 15 Sek. am Sprudeln.

After a lot of research I finally decided upon this Braun kettle. 3.5 years and it works as good as new - toggles on kettles usually break or malfunction - this is solid and as good as new This Braun WK300 is very similar in looks to it's bigger WK500 brother. The main difference being that the WK500 is slightly more powerful so will boil water up a bit faster. The WK600 is a different kettle - same power as the K500 but steel and different in looks. Anyway, back to the WK300. It's a beautiful kettle, in a German functional and solid way. Looks good and very high quality. The plastics and materials are seriously top notch - sturdy, solid, well constructed with a good quality feel to the handle and grey area, plus the switches and lid. The handle has a great solid quality feel to it, and tipping it slightly enables one to easily pour the water out of the mouth without going nuts tipping it over too much. The design is brilliant, as the snout is way up and the ergonomic soft feel handle just at the right angle you don't have to put too much effort in pouring. The steam goes away from you, so no burns, and it doesn't leak or dribble as many others do. The snout is wide enough to fill without having to take the lid off - this is a great idea, as constantly flipping lids over leads to a shorter shelf life for kettles - my last three kettles have failed because of the LID - and there's no reason to use this lid every time so longevity is increased as a result! The kettle slots onto the base precisely and swivels around smoothly. So in terms of looks and build quality it is Great! The Braun logo is also a sign of quality, and a brand to be proud of. 0.75l of water takes about a minute to boil, a large mug full of water takes as little as 45 seconds. A fully laden kettle takes around 4 1/2 minutes to boil. (The K500 is faster). This is pretty slow. The lead is at a standard length, and the kettle came boxed with European cable - plus a 3 UK pin attached too so that was a result! If you're used to the usual kettles available this is clearly a step up in terms of build, looks and quality - it's superior to many of the same or more price (including Breville, Russell Hobbs, Philips and Bosch (which isn't made in Europe) than this and it's because this isn't some Chinese made rubbish (as most are) it's a German brand and this is made in the EU (in The Braun factory in Croatia). I've tried several kettles, and handled most in every shop I been to and this is only bettered by the more powerful WK500 and the beauty of a steel kettle the Braun WK600 and wipes the floor with anything else! Only gripe is a full kettle takes about 5 minutes to boil - even a 3/4 full kettle takes about that much time.
