Brilliant and very strong once tensioned
The media could not be loaded. Never had one therefore didn’t know what to expect, but very happy with it. Sank eye bolts into the bricks and a concrete post and tensioned it using truckers hitch’s. We’ve had some very strong winds and I was expecting it to be shredded, but it hardly moved. Super sturdy with very little give and no flapping that I have noticed. I was expecting it to make a right racket when windy and it simply doesn’t maybe it’s sheltered by the walls but I’m very happy with it. Considering another one now to overlap this one in the other direction.

Very light in colour
Unpacked the sail- and all the bits are there and it seems sturdy enough.I wanted a specific size and a right angled triangle, and it was only available in beige, however it is more like a raw biscuit (more yellow) rather than beige.I am sure it will OK, but I hope I don't spend the whole summer cleaning it!

Provides shade and style!
Easy to erect, looks good and provides shade on the few sunny days we’ve had. Quick to take down too, important to us as we live with lots of fresh air!

Quality fabric but not quite like the picture.
I ordered the smaller 2.5 x 3.5 sail and it was just too small. But that was my fault. Ordered up a size and went for the 3 x 4 x 5 which fits the space fine. The quality of material is good for the price. However, I was not expecting a join through the fabric. As you can see in the photo it is made up of two pieces stitched together. The image doesn't show this and it looks pretty ugly from below. Had it been one sheet it would have gotten an extra star.

Good value, rain or shine
I actually got this with autumn in mind, for protection from the rain so i could still enjoy the garden in all weathers, rather than a sun shade. However, it's good for both! I've got a tiny garden with a small seating area, so went for the triangular shape. I didn't actually secure it with 'proper' wall fixings, but instead used very tall garden plant poles stuck deep into either tall, heavy, soil-filled plant pots, or simply attached to my garden fence using screw-in hooks. Time will tell if that's enough to keep it in place, but we have had one good thunder & rain storm with moderate wind, and it's still in situ! It did, as other reviewers have mentioned, stretch under the weight of the rain, which did gather in one corner of the sail and needed tipping out, but it reverts back to shape when dry and I'm sure it's probably meant to stretch so that it doesn't tear or detach under the stress of it. Anyway - it's definitely waterproof! I'm very happy with it so far & think it's very good value when compared with a 'proper' awning. If you're on a budget, or don't want something permanent, then this is a great solution.

Great shadow from sale
A sail for shading garden area from sun works well. Rope could be heavier, I used my own which is heavier to allow tension without cutting into hands.Water runs off easily in fact at one stage it held water and had to be rehuhg at an angle!

Not great
The right angle triangle shade isn’t actually a right angle (see picture)The dimensions are inaccurate (larger than described)It’s not even remotely waterproof. After a light shower there was water seeping through the fabric. This wasn’t pooled water. It’s not beige, it’s yellow. It doesn’t actually block out much sunlight due to how thin the fabric is.I have no confidence that it will survive anything greater than a gentle breeze.I wish I had spent more and got something that was actually useful
