Well worth it knowing safety is #1
Absolutely the best! Since finding Hayabusa and trying them out, we've realized that they are top notch and they make excellent products. Well made, durable, and most of all they do exactly what they're supposed to do. Safety is definitely number one and in my opinion they have exceeded that. Bought this headgear for my son. He didn't have a sparring partner one day and coach put him up against someone two weight classes ahead of him. The other forgot to pump his brakes on a couple good punches and knocked my boy across the ring and into the ropes. I asked my son if he was ok and he said "the headgear works! It works really well! I felt it, but it didn't hurt!" I was definitely relieved to know that it worked and beyond my expectations. Now we only buy Hayabusa products. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it to know that my son's safety is their top priority.

High quality.
My son is new to boxing and at times struggles with headgear bothering him. I noticed his first time in the Hayabusa that he did not fidget with it at all. Was great to see. We both would highly recommend this headgear. Also very light weight and great looking as an extra. Only thing that I would recommend to change is the downward strap on the back has to be folded under to prevent it from running on your neck. Tucking it works fine so it’s a ver trivial issue.

Fits is good.
Good cover and works out well. My head is another story. Fits well and does not block view or get way. A helpful use for my skill and learning level.

Well made
Hayabusa is a great brand! I purchased this for my eleven year old and he loves it! The velcro straps seems to hold a tighter grip compared to the laces. My son mentioned the headgear doesn’t shift or move around where it would impair his vision when he spars. It is also much lighter than the Sanabul and Century brand. The headgear also covers his cheeks unlike some brands, but no so much where it blocks his peripheral view and lower shots coming in, like other brands. Overall Hayabusa is an excellent brand! Although they tend to be more on the expensive side, the durability and safety it provides as well as the sleek/shiny look is a great investment. If you love your kids’ and/or your safety. I would recommend Hayabusa!

Works As Advertised
Got punched in the head. Didn’t hurt. Good product 👍

Not well thought out
It's becoming clear to me that Hayabusa is only good for gloves and that their shoes and headgears sucks. I have a fairly decent sized head and still the strap is way too long in the back It's ridiculous. It will scratch up your neck like crazy

the velcro
so i do really like the headgear. my only real problem was that i would tighten the headgear and when i go hit it would shift almost everytime. I made it tighter and the velcro would itch my neck and i would fold it but after i took a couple hit it would fall out and start to rub my neck again. I did get the small and i think i might try to find a different headgear that doesnt distract me when im sparring

It is ok but feels like it was used…

My head is 56cm, and I ordered M, but it still fits too big even after all adjustments. The piece of velcro on the back goes all the way down to my neck (in order to be snug), and irritates the skin. The inside matterial is very slippery, and makes the guard rottating on my head like crazy, even without sweat. There is virtually no protection: the padding is very thin, and cheeck protectors protect nothing - even a slightest punch will hit your nouse and even eyes. To summarize: this is the worst headguard I ever tried! Even the chippest chinese products are much better than this expensive one. Their gloves may be great, but their headguard is a joke!

Its an alright headgear I feel like it disperses the impact evenly although the back part is quite annoying because it’s all Velcro. I personally prefer laces, the strap hangs down and rubs on your neck and it’s quite distracting. I tried folding it in different ways but it always comes loose. If I could return it I would
