I think this back board is great. I have not used it for my surgery just yet because it will be in a few weeks, but from what I can see it feels very sturdy yet comfortable. I tried it on with a girdle to see how it would feel after surgery and I can tell it is a very well constructed product and it will help me very much post op.

Just what I was looking for after my back lipo. Brought me so much needed back support while at the same time bringing my swelling down. It also gives that nice shape to my butt. It's very soft and comfortable to wear all day even to sleep with, all the while still giving you the support you need. It doesn't slide around like alot of reviews say, but then again I'm wearing a tight Faja over it. Totally recommended.

I assume this board will stay in place if you do not have any kind of curves, however as a thick chick, the back board slides out of place constantly over time. Doesn't matter if you wear it on top or under a camisole/tank top. The smooth satin-like finish Doesn't help. It's a shame because it seems to have a perfect shape for my backside. I may see about using a elastic band to see if it will keep it in place to get my money's worth. But finding a board with a coarser fabric might fare better for keeping it in place underneath a faja.

I was looking for a backboard that would hold my back in place when I sit or stand. It has been years since my surgery, but I have degenerative discs and have trouble keeping my back straight. This back board is not firm, but it is padded so it offers a feeling of protection, but I wanted a stronger one. I do use this in my chair to offer some support so it is not a loss.

In theory this item would be great if it stayed in place. I tried wearing it under my compressed garment, but it kept moving around if i bent over or made too much movement at night. It would end up pressing on my butt or moving sideways. I stopped using it and just used the lipo foam. It worked a lot beyyer and stayed in place. A lot more comfortable. Do not waste your money on this product
