It does exactly what it says... It sputters water out for ya' little critters! The device works perfectly with adequate sunlight, and it's got a great pumping system. I kept the nozzle off the top (as another review mentioned doing) to keep the water from jetting up too high and it stays in my little birdbath well. I haven't seen birds using it yet, but lots of mud daubers and bumblebees have been fueling up in it before pollinating my garden, so I'm cool with it.

The first time I purchased this item it worked three days then stopped. Amazon graciously gave me a stress free return process and sent another fountain that worked four days then stopped. Now, I am sending back the item and Amazon is giving my money back but I have no fountain 😕 ok 😆

Bought to use in small deck pond. Low pressure which was perfect for size of my pond. However, it hasn't lasted. N IL so didn't put out until May & it stopped working end of Aug. I liked the size, the lack of wires & the amount of spray, just wish it had lasted longer.

I had normal expected use for the course of a fortnight before it's performance commenced deteriorating to the point that it failed to function as required - all in the space of a month.Would not recommend.

It was easy just take it out of the box and put it in the water. A little sunshine and the fountain starts flowing. But when it's cloudy the fountain gives one squirt every 30 seconds but still worth the money @!!

I liked it, but it quit after two months and I can’t figure out how to ask the seller for a refund. Now my patio pond is a patio SWAMP because of the stagnant water. Gross.

Worked great for 5 days and then quit working completely.
