Very happy with the quality of this rod and reel set. I didn't know too much about baitcasters and I don't think I would purchase another one, however I think it was just a lack of knowledge on my part. It worked well when I took it for sea bass. It had great action. It may be better suited though for freshwater.

Great rod and reel combo light weight great feel can fish all day and not get sore arms. In my opinion it is not for beginners but with a little practice you will be just fine.

Rod came damaged. the guides were completely bent. However very nice rod and reel system.

Tip Dont get sand into the reel, its a headache to clean out the sand out of the gears. I recommend covering the reel something when transporting it also to keep stuff from getting inside.
