Q: Do these capri's have side pockets?

No pockets is a deal killer, need a place for my phone when I walk. Many women must feel this way because they use this as a sales point in other pants and shorts. Hope the seller is paying attention.

Q: In the photo these look like "hip-huggers." Is that the case, or do they actually fit around the natural waistline? Thx.

They fit somewhere in-between natural waist and your hip. They are super comfortable. They seem to run big though.

Q: will they shrink when washed?

Yes. A little. I ordered up a size so they'd be roomy.

Q: are these black or dark grey

I chose "black" and the arrived black............there is an option for dark grey ...but I picked the "black" and that's what I got :)
