Great value for the price
I bought these to replace the tuners on an inexpensive Chinese telecaster clone (also got Wilkinson compensated bridge and pickups). The tuners made a big difference and I'm pretty astonished how well they stay in tune without a "real" locking mechanism. After initial string stretching over a day or so, they stay perfectly in tune according to my Peterson strobostomp tuner. Excellent bang for the buck. This guitar now plays better and sounds better than my standard tele and it cost me about 1/3 of the price and about 30 mins of parts swapping. Highly recommended.

Super smooth and nice quality!
I originally got these for a Tele I'm building, but they mysteriously ended up on my $75 Strat copy. ; ) They're a huge improvement over what came on the guitar, I hadn't figured on the difference being so big. Now tuning the guitar isn't an ordeal anymore. Will definitely be buying again!

Smooth operation and good quality. Check they are the right size!
I enjoy building guitars from scratch and modifying cheap guitars to turn them into something special and beautiful. Wilkinson hardware is usually a winner for me, quality at a good price, and those tubing machines are a winner again. I used the locking models and really liked them, but I'm making the current project for a friend and he didn't want locking tuners, do this was perfect. I retrofitted a no-brand Stratocaster neck and I knew the holes in the headstock were the wrong size, but it was simple enough to ream them to the proper size. The tuners were easy to install and look great. More importantly they operate smoothly and keep the guitar in tune

Best Price on a Must-Have Upgrade
Lovely tuners at a really fair cost. These things are well-made as the Wilkinson name all but guarantees, and this is the cheapest place I could find them. A lovely, low-impact upgrade on any project electric. These will serve as a great replacement for my squier Tele tuners, despite the fact that the factory tuners are surprisingly well-built and attractive on the newer affinity series models; I bought the guitar because it was cheap and a solid body for modest modifications--these are an industry go-to for a reason. They add a little bit of vintage shine without making the guitar look stupid, and, most importantly, they work: the strings stay in tune and the tuners are wicked easy to install. Wilkinson is nothing less than a loved producer of workhorse parts for guitars, and Amazon is the huge multinational that'll facilitate the extra-rapid shipping and impossible-to-beat prices. How can you go wrong?

They are smooth and accurate. Inexpensive doesn't mean cheap.
I have used these on several Strats with no problems. I was using high dollar tuners for years but I switched to using these when I found that I was paying more for the high dollar brand name and not necessarily the quality. They work and they don't jump or slip. What ,more do you need?

Great Tuning Machines
I purchased these for a Tele I'm working on upgrading and didn't want to spend 3x as much as the brand that has an "F" on the back of them, but also didn't want to buy some that were next to nothing. They were an easy install on my Tele, just had to drill pilot hole for the screw that anchors the machines and keeps them from shifting. They stay in tune, and tune better than any other tuning machines on most of my other guitars. I'm able to tune to pitch without getting that annoying pitch warble you get on some of the cheaper brands. The Wilkinson tuners, in opinion is an excellent option for anyone that doesn't feel like they have to have a big manufacturer name on their hardware, and is every bit as purposeful and functional as it should be for what it is.

Great tuners at a great price
These are a really fantastic upgrade for a guitar that will not stay in tune. They are inexpensive, they look nice, and they hold a good tune. If you know how to rap a string correctly you really do not need locking tuners . That is a myth ... there are plenty of super expensive . Amazing guitars, with traditional tuners . Everything I have gotten from Wilkinson is great soo far !

great tuners, great price
This is the third set I have bought in three months. Three or four more will take care of all of my fender style guitars. Many of mine are in the $300 - $500 dollar price range, and these tuners are an upgrade for sure. I like the fact that you can choose either of the two holes to run the string through first, giving you two options as far as the angle from nut to post. Locking feature works the same as on the split shaft tuners, two places where the string gets bent.
