I have been using these pens for years but my first time buying them from Amazon. I have older arthritic hands & skinny pens literally hurt me to use. I also detest gel pens, fine point, and blue ink. These fatter pens fit my hand perfectly & the bottom 1/4 of the pen is a non-slip area that is effective. There’s no “globby” ink residue that smears & the point writes in medium. I can’t imagine using a different style pen & borderline hoard them in fear they will stop being produced! They aren’t inexpensive but they’re worth the cost. The only downside is that no refills are available that I have found like in the “old” days, so not environmentally friendly unfortunately. There may be a refill out there that I haven’t found.
