Better than the carbon steel woks
Heavy, sturdy, and well made. I use this for stir fry, but mostly for pasta dishes because it holds a lot and you can flip the pasta and sauce easily - well, you need to be able to wield a heavy pan. I’ve bought this for myself and bought as a gift for another. Far better investment than the carbon steel woks, and so much easier to clean.

Overall, a good pot.
I'm pretty pleased with the five-quart dutch oven overall. Caveats: I haven't put it in the oven yet, and I've only used it a couple of times. The good: 1) It's light! (The lid is oddly heavy in comparison.) If you hang your pots, don't worry about hanging this one. 2) It's really great at even heat distribution. I cooked up a bunch of eggs (eight) and vegetables in it and didn't have to put it in the oven like with a frittata--everything got cooked. I was impressed. 3) Cleaning is a snap. So far, the nonstick works. I put it in the dishwasher, and no issues yet. 4) It's a nice size if you aren't cooking for a bunch of people. The less good: 1) As other reviewers mentioned, the handles get warm. They don't get hot, though, so it's okay. Probably a side effect of being able to put this in the oven. 2) It's light, so it does slide around on the burner. I cook on a gas range, not a flat-burnered stove, and it still happens. Stirring without a hand on it isn't likely to work well.

Great quality, better than pictured
Great quality, ideal in size and replaces the old one of 15 years that finally scratched excessively ..the new brand of Cephelon has a protective layer that won't scratch when washed..its lightweight, deep, at 12 inches..perfest for stir fried foods Chinese or other Asian dishes..great for frozen meals, stroganoff and other mixes sauce meals as well..like a wok, but stronger and more durable..awesome and very happy with my pan..keep it oiled when in use or not in use

Heavy duty!
Love this wok pan. Heats evenly, definitely easy clean up. It does have weight to it but works extremely well. Nothing sticks to it! Just slides right out! A little pricey but worth the cost. I've used it for several months and it looks brand new. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

These are the freaking BEST!
We got a set of Calphalon pans and a set of Blue Diamond pots & pans at the same time (Blue Diamond was a gift from relative). They both are non-stick, they both heat food evenly on the stove, and both look very nice. Here is why Calphalon is superior. 1. The Calphalon handles stay cool while you are cooking with them. The Blue Diamond handles DO NOT! I've burned my hand while using the Blue Diamond pans which is just insane – seems like a serious design flaw! Calphalon handles are perfectly cool to the touch though, so that should honestly be the only reason you need to choose between the 2. 2. Our Calphalon pans just feel sturdier & heavier duty. They are a nice & solid construction & very quality build. 3. They work great. They clean up very easy. They are just AWESOME. In summary – don't ever buy Blue Diamond they are junk. Buy these, and all your wildest dreams will come true.

solidly built pan
This is the "high quality" Calphalon pan with the three rivets on the handle instead of 2. Very solid, thick, heavy pan about like a "non-stick cast iron". Takes a bit of time to heat up, as one would expect with a thick pan. Cooks well, cleans easily I mostly use it to scramble eggs. Doesnt seem to scratch. If I need more pans, this is what I'll get. Bought some for my mom.

Great Calphalon pot and lid
Love this Calphalon pot. Had one for 35 yrs and it finally developed a food cook line. Bought this as a replacement. Wish it had a small vent hole in the glass top, but love Calphalon and love this pot. Well worth the money!!!!! It will last me another 35 yrs.
