Really great sound quality, crystal clear, noise canceling is also very good. Battery talk time 6-7 hours, love the portable recharger, carrying case is a bonus! Really like this & glad Plantronics is back in the headset game. Used to always use this brand! Happy to have it again!!

I really want to love these. The first 5200 arrived and they wouldn’t take a charge. So a replacement set was ordered. Eventually the replacement set arrived, this one takes a charge and sounds great. The bug now is the random “blue tooth disconnected” happens. Then I have to fiddle with settings to get them to reconnect. I listen to audio books. So the battery life is great. But having the headset randomly disconnect several times a day is getting old.

I purchased this to use with my laptop for MS Teams-based calling and Teams meetings. No issues as a headset with my mobile phone (although not the primary use). With Teams, I have people saying they can't understand me (sounds robotic or patchy), it will randomly drop (bad for business), and if I lean back more than 3' it goes robotic and patchy. Plantronics (Polycom) sent me a new dongle transmitter, but that has not made a difference. The hassle of having to deal with this, and Plantronics not just replacing the entire unit (headset and transmitter), is the reason for my not-recommended. Surprising to me since I've had other Plantronic headsets in the past that worked very well - just not this model. And due to the hassle, I'll look to other brands and solutions.

Unhappy with sound and battery life

My husband uses this for work and when driving. It will play his music. One drawback is that when it disconnects the ear piece does not reconnect. He has to turn it off and then turn it back on. The previous plantronic would automatically reconnect if it disconnected. Also my husband can be in another room and away from his phone with the ear piece on and he has no problems with static. By far it is one of the best ear pieces made in his opinion.

I sent a message about getting a replacement unit before 4/21 but haven't heard back from the seller. The charging station is not working to charge the headset. I have purchased two of these and it charges on the other unit but not this unit. Can I get a replacement charge box?
