I bought this for a project and it really exceeded my expectations but do not fire this up without a good heatsink and thermal paste. It will burn out as fast as it comes on.. these get uber hot..

They work well- although be ready because they emit a massive amount of heat. The light output can be a little inconsistent but it’s a budget diode.

My husband replaced a security light bulb in a light that was 6 years old. He had to do a little soldering to make it fit and it works perfectly. It's bright just like we want.

Without a proper heatsink, this COB can't possibly work. What is the proper heatsink ? I do not know. I took my best attempt at it with what I though was a thorough heatsink, it worked brilliantly for about 2 minutes ... truly excellent ... then failed. The vendor should not sell this without proper instruction regarding heat sink or should sell it with a heat sink.

The RGBW version doesn’t include the constant current ma requirements and thus - it’s tough to figure out the proper driver

I am an Electrical Engineer and I was very careful to build and pretest a jig to test this unit. I used that jig to test another high power LED that worked just fine. I soldered all the wires correctly and it doesn't work. NOTE that I answered a question about this device saying it had >200,000 lumens, but I was confused and thought the question referred to another high power LED I purchased which did work and I don't see how to delete the answer. Unfortunately I found out the device did not work 5 days after the return period. I note that the seller mainly sells office chairs, so I doubt they will get back to me on this. If they do, I'll modify my rating. If not it stays one star.

Kann mit einem normalen CPU Kühler mit zwei Heatpipes gut gekühlt werden so dass das Aluminium Stück von der LED selbst so kühl bleibt, dass man es noch gut anfassen kann.
