This is a high quality part. The magnet to catch metal particles is strong and held in place by metal tabs and cannot come loose. A Dorman brand for only $2.00 more than an off brand .If your cover is rusty replace it and save from having to pay a thousand dollars later.

Cover seems to be well made, BUT ! The magnet retainer is too close to the ring and the speed gear I bolted the pan up dry too see what it did and I could hear the speedo gear rubbing the magnet so used a chisel and hammer three hits and it was off problem solved. Don't know if I will bother to use it. I'm intense on maintance anyway.
