This little volume is the perfect book to keep on hand so you're never waiting for an appointment without good reaing material. The essays are short enough to be read through in 5-10 minutes and beautifully written. The combination is perfect for someone who seeks something both soothing and engaging. Chock full of interesting material that will keep you reflecting throughout the day and give you something unique to drop into conversation. This author fills a great niche with this little treasure. You wont regret getting a copy for yourself - just make sure to keep it handy in your car or a bag!

O livro tem um conteúdo impecável, a história das cores é incrivel e mt bem pesquisada. O que me entristece é a falta de cuidado no manejo por parte da transportadora e da amazon, além de pequenas falhas no refile. Pedi o livro pela primeira vez e veio com muitos amassos na ponta, pedi uma troca e foi feita com muita facilidade. Recebi a troca hoje, o livro veio com a capa suja e alguns amassos (menores dessa vez), acredito que seja algum problema no estoque e no transporte, já que o livro não tem nenhuma película protetora. Felizmente consegui limpar a capa com álcool e algodão, mas para um livro neste valor esperava um pouco mais de cuidado com a encomenda ☹️

When I purchased this book, I imagined it more to be about how to use colour. However, I have been captivated by the history of colour instead. This book is mind expanding and incredibly well researched. It is fascinating reading when some colours were first used centuries ago. I look forward to settling down with this book whenever I get a spare moment, and then to be transported to a time and place in history. A fantastic read and greatly educational.
