Drain Saddle Valve with 1/4-inch Quick Connect

Excellent, budget friendly product. I used this for an under sink ro/di system. No instructions, but easy to understand.1. Pick a spot on pvc under sink where it will go and remove the piece2. Drill a 1/4" hole in pvc pipe after aligning where saddle will be placed3. Slide pipe through saddle, then cushions piece that comes in the packet, and then into hole (see pics). The "cushion" piece goes between the pvc pipe and the side the pipe is inserted into saddle.4. Screw other half of saddle onto pvc.5. Place pvc back togetherSee pictures if you are confused.Pro tip: get a check valve so that when you use ur sink, water doesn't flow into your 1/4" pipe!!!

Lost the drain saddle that came with my ro unit... I'll be darned I found it after installing this one lol. Go figure. Works great though, no leaks. Got my ro unit plugged into a wifi plug under the sink. I dont even have to be home to turn it on, I can set it to run for 8.5 hrs and know that everything is working as it should.

These things work excellently! Very easy to install and there are no leaks! Makes organizing RODI system waste water connection to plumbing system look and work great! Highly recommend.

This valve works great and is easy to install. Just a note, this is not the correct valve if you are adding it to a Whirlpool RO system. For that, you need the one with a 3/8" quick connect.I knocked one star for the complete lack of any instructions. Luckily, there are a lot of them online that you can find. Especially important is the need to have something to help line up the hole in the drain line with the hole in the valve to ensure that the tube goes all the way into the drain line.For the week I had it installed (before changing it out with the 3/8" one), it didn't show any signs of leakage.

Having installed RO systems for a living once upon a time I knew exactly what I wanted for putting it in at my new house and this product worked perfectly. Great seal, good quality, quick delivery. Very happy customer.

Wrll, it's a drain saddle, and it connects up to 1/4 inch tubing, as promised. This could have been an easy 5 star review but it's a 3 star review because the package did not include a lock ring for the tubing port. This was an easy fix for me because I bought a package of those lock rings for another project but if I had been depending on this to be a complete part to do the iob, I'd be screwed. Try finding those lock rings anywhere but specialty stores. Incredibly cheap yet incredibly essential to make a drain line not risk leaking all over your floor. Color me - annoyed.

Easy to install. Drill the hole in the sink drain pipe, clamp on the saddle, then insert the water line.

The Saddle is a quality part. 3 months of use. No leaks and no rust. Fits well on my 2-inch pipe. 2 inches is the minimum size recommended. The clap is about 1/8 inch from bottoming out.
