Dry ice evaporates, It doesn't melt. People need to educate yourself
They don't sell smaller quantities because the smaller the quantity the faster it evaporates. You can't just put it in your freezer and keep it it's still evaporates....Obviously you couldn't return it because it was going to evaporate Don't act shocked when it did that My god do you try to return ice to?!?

Waste of money
The product was packed in a damaged container and by the time it was delivered, it had practically fallen apart. I don't recommend it, it's a waste of money

People…
Some of you really need to do research dry ice doesn’t melt it turns into a gas. Putting this in your freezer to keep it longer will not work as your freezer is about 100 degrees warmer than the ice itself… this isn’t like storing your common H2O in the freezer

Not even close to 40 lbs. Yes it sublimates I have bought from others with much better results
I would avoid. Much cheaper places. Do some googling. This is a bad product.

Greatest Use and doesn’t last long
The product is great for labor jobs but not air conditioning. The freezer melts the ice and the box melts the ice. The product should come in smaller sizes such as per pound. Unless used for labor. Air conditioning or camping will be over hundred of dollars for one time use. Expected life is only 2 days before it melts and freezing it melts way faster so don’t freeze dry ice. Labor great but camping Air conditioning bad. 3 stars because dry ice packs last longer so invest in that instead.

Not 40lbs
Ordered 2- 40lbs of this dry ice. It was maybe 60lbs at most. Container was cracked and it probably melted a bunch of it. FYI this is not for dry ice blasting. Go to your local grocery and just get blocks.

All the dry ice disappeared
We placed the dry ice into the freezer and the next day it was all gone - up in smoke.
