This takes a bit more blood than checking you sugar level but works just as well as lab work up. Very easy to use. I highly recommend this for anyone suffering from low hemaglobin.

It doesn't provide an accurate amount of my red cell information as I compared with doctor's lab results every time and it shows "E-6" on screen for no more working to do any test. I still have test strips on hand.

I ordered this item for a patient who has low hgb. This is a convenient way to monitor blood hgb at home. It is as easy as using a glucose monitor with strips. The post office here put a slip in my box that said the package was not able to be put into the parcel locker and yet reported it to Amazon as delivered to the parcel locker. I took the slip to the post office and they had the package. Make sure to check with your post office is you have any issues. Customer Service for this item is FANTASTIC. Prompt response. I have to keep a check on my hemoglobin. I looked at all the meters available and read all the reviews. I am so happy with this meter. I did go ahead and order the extra strips that go with this one. It's very easy to use, great instructions. I'm definitely happy with it. Super fast delivery too

I use the product to monitor hemoglobin levels following life threatening internal bleeding. The fine print made the instruction manual very hard for me to read. The hemoglobin meter worked fine once I figured out how to use it. Delivery time was long, about 2 weeks. I am satisfied with this product now that I know how to use it.

Got this meter today. After following step by step instructions on the setup of the meter I tested myself 3 times - twice from one finger, one time from another. Got 13.8 g/dL each time. Tested my son- got 15.7 g/dL for him. These measurements sound about right for both of us. Even if they are not exact same as would be with the venous blood, at least they are not all over the place, and in a ballpark. Will compare it with Hb measurement done by a certified lab. In a mean time, I am a fan and when/if my special someone feels "tired" and it reads low - I will treat it as an emergency. Easy enough to use. Needle is tiny, there is barely any discomfort from the stick.

It worked for a month then nothing but what do you expect from China?

The readings i get can only be used for pattern changes. It was worthless to give accurate numbers.
