Not working
Terrible product that doesn’t work. The manual pump does not inflate and the seals let all the air out. Complete waste of money

I bought this in June 2025 trying yet another product which promises to ease my age related degenerative back pain. This one has kept its promise. My L-5 S1 Sciatica is exacerbated by a mild bend, like over the kitchen counter, cooking, etc. This morning I wore my belt for 3 hours in the kitchen cooking, cleaning, sitting, and I was able to complete my tasks pain free. Put the belt on before inflating it, or it won’t work. Inflate it just until you feel tension on the pump, it’s filled enough, & some reviewers have popped their belts. While I don’t want this great belt to make my core lazy, it teaches me how to hold myself up, and allows for longer tasks that aggravate my sciatica. It’s not a magic cure, but it is magic!

I recently bought this brace to help with my lower back pain and it is truly amazing. I crushed L 4-5 20 years ago and last year fractured L 2. I have a lot of lower back pain and work our daily to help relieve my back problems. I am 49 but never want to slow down. I golf twice a week and during the summer wakeboard and surf almost daily. All this activity is what i love doing but my back would be so sore i could hardly stand up the next day or even that night. I have 3 other back braces which offer support but nothing works like this brace. I was skeptical of buying another brace but thought why not. You can actually feel the relief as you pump this thing up. I have only had this brace for two weeks but feel so much better from wearing this brace. I use it for about an hour when i first get up and then again before i go to sleep. If needed i will put it on during the day just for the relief. Yes, I saw the ads on Facebook and read the reviews on amazon and was skeptical just like you may be, don't be. Save your back and buy it now, you will not regret this purchase is you have lower back issues. I am looking forward to October/November so I can see how it works for those long days in a tree stand. Any hunter with back issues knows how fun 4 plus hours can be sitting in a tree but i think this year may be different.

There are times when I wanted to give this a 5-star rating and at other times a 3-star rating so I settled on 4 stars and here's why. So this product works beautifully until the pin in the air valve unwinds (see pics) - and if you do not pay attention, the air valve pin can fall out completely. Luckily, I was able to retrieve the pin TWICE (once under the bed where I did a hand swipe while looking for something else and once when I was doing yard work including washing the walkway where I saw it between my feet - Sorry for my dirty hands in the pics). Because the pin screws in, it will inevitably unscrew because of the air pressure from the inside. First you'll notice leakage and then if you don't take notice, the pin will fall out. Instead of that key-looking thing to release the pressure, the manufacturer should have included a cap to secure the pin inside. I'm going to now coat the thread with a thin coat of silicone on the thread and see if that holds. With all that air pressure pushing the air valve pin up the thread it should have had a locking mechanism and this is the design flaw. I see that people blame the air pump but I believe that the air pump is fine. I screwed the pin back in with my hands until I couldn't anymore and then I turned the flexible hose in front while holding the pin with needle-nosed pliers and releasing the hose so that the pin screwed in more deeply. I did this several times until I heard a very, very light click (you better have great hearing to discern). But as I wrote, it holds for a little while and then loosens, so you have to keep re-threading the air valve pin. As I mentioned, I will try a very light coating of silicone/glue on the thread and hope for the best. (For the glue/silicone coating, let set for 24 hours otherwise air pressure will weaken the glue/silicone. And make sure you don't overcoat lest you clog the hole from the inside.
