Is this purely combing (ie not like a furminator?) I have a Samoyed and just being very careful it doesn’t cut any fur like furminators - thank you

I have had this for sometime now. My collie cross has a thick coat and he loves being brushed. It doesn't clip hair but brushes through a thick coat. Perfect for a Samoyed who has a similar coat to my dog. It seems to be soothing to the dog too.

Does it work on removing mud off a horse

I haven't tried it but can't see why not although a more regular brush would probably work just as well. I would just watch out for the horse looking agitated as kicking and biting are hazards one would want to avoid. Be wary of getting too far into the exercise and find you are ignoring the horse - be very alert and start with a short trial run would be my advice.
