4 year old wore multiple times and holds up

Overall I am very pleased with this costume. I do feel that it runs long and slim though. My son is 38” tall and 31lbs. He typically wears 2T (maybe 3T in pants, for length). I ordered him the 3T/4T and the 2T for his little sister. I tried them both on him (and just the 2T on her). The 2T was very fitted on him and he is super thin. But it was a tad short. The 3/4 is a looser fit but comfortable for him. It is definitely long on him, but with a chunkier tennis shoe I think it will be okay. My daughter is 24lbs and 32” tall (chunkier than her brother). The 2T was also fitted on her and quite long. But it wasn’t too tight. If you have a tall kiddo, these will definitely work out well. Also, the gloves are a little small, in my opinion. My sons thumb would go in. But it’s a small detail to the costume that we will probably just do without Hopefully I have enough information to help anyone curious on sizing

In this photo my 6 year old is in the Catboy deluxe costume and my four year old is in Gekko one which I have not altered yet. I just gave this deluxe Catboy costume and the Gekko deluxe costume to my son today for his fourth birthday, but his brother is barely bigger so they can both wear them. My four year old is very tall: 33" from heel to shoulder, and 43" tall heel to top of head, and thin. My 6 year old is 35" from heel to shoulder and 45" tall total and also thin. They both fit into the costumes pretty well, though on the tight side. The Catboy mask fits a little awkward and goes up slightly in the back, but both my boys have slightly large heads, and it isn't bad. The gloves are so awkwardly sewn and the thumbs are so tight they can't get their thumbs into them, and they need to extend up the wrist a little more.. I had to sew the Catboy tail on because it kept falling off when he sat down, and I had to alter the mask so it didn't puff out showing too much hair and their ears. Now it is more form fitted to his head and he likes it. I had originally bought the 4-6 size and it was way too big on them, and the mask was huge but the gloves fit them perfectly. I returned it. I had also bought the Catboy costume that was not the deluxe one in size 4-6 and it was enormous and terrible thin quality, so I returned that one also.. The fabric on these are much better, thicker, and textured, and they glow in the dark after exposed to light. (Tip: use a handheld blacklight to make it glow extra bright for short periods while you are out and about in the dark) My 6 year old is a little small compared to his peers, so go by measurements. We are very happy with these now, but if we can't get other gloves to replace these tiny ones we may buy the bigger size again so they have gloves that work for them for Halloween and have the costume when they outgrow these.

Super quality

The quality of this costume is like nothing I have ever bought for my kids. I normally get their costumes at Target and Wal-Mart. This suite fits my tiny 4 year old perfectly! It's a bit long in the legs, but I just fold the cuffs up. This costume is made of this amazing heavy duty, textured material. It glows in the dark and has the greatest tiny details. The only thing my husband doesn't like is how loose the neck part of the mask is, but there's a picture, so you can decide. I don't think it's that big of a deal. I absolutely adore this costume!

I read all the reviews about the costume but I couldn't find any other brand than disguise so I took a chance on it anyways. I have never ordered on Amazon before and was nervous to do so. The package arrived quickly and without damage which was a relief. Things I liked: Being the deluxe costume it is made of thicker material than my daughter's owellette one which was very thin and had runs/tears after the first use (see picture added). It was a warm night but he was not too warm in it. Cathboy costume was true to character. Tail was removable so my son was comfy in his carseat for the ride to the fall fest. I bought the size 4/5 for my 5 year old who is tall and it was a tad long on him. He doesn't like tight clothes so it was baggy and comfy for him. The next size down would have fit him perfectly as well. The attached shoe covers fit nicely over his shoes and stayed in place fairly well. Things I did not like: From the review I knew the Velcro closers were an issue. From the point I opened it I was extremely careful to keep all the Velcro from touching the fabric but was unsuccessful. The moment it touched it was impossible to pull it off without damaging the material (see picture added). As suggested by an experienced seamstress I plan on removing the Velcro and adding ties or snaps for future use if possible but we should not have to do these things to protect the costume from damage. The Velcro has been an issue for a long time. I do not understand why the company has not fixed this issue. The mask was too large and shifted on my son's face as did the owlette on my daughter's face. Poor kid's nose was coming out the eye. Wasn't long before they both took the masks off. After the first use (about 3 hours 1 being just sitting in the van on our way to the church event) the mask frayed and unraveled at the bottom (see picture added). My son did nothing but move tevmask back in place several times. There was no rough housing or abuse to the costume at all. Sad really that it frays and rips so easily. The opening which the child is supposed to use to get into the costume is small so it's difficult for them to get into it on their own. The gloves were tight and my son chose not to wear than at all. They fit my 3 yr old better which I find odd because they are meant to fit a boy who wears size 4/5 not a girl who wears size 4t-5T. Over all the costume did it's job and completed our on mask group. I do not believe it is worth the $25 we paid for it and I would not pay that for it again. My 1 years olds hand crocheted Gekko girl costume held up way better than our store bought ones and that only cost me about $8-10 to make with left over yarn for another project. We suited up once more on Halloween day just for a little outside time because we were on tornado warning and wanted to stay close to home. I bought the size bigger for my son in hope he'd fit in it longer. We planned on adding the two costumes to our dress up closet but sadly I do not believe it will hold up for much more than a few more wears. I don't plan on machine washing it as I don't believe it would survive even a gentle wash. The Velcro would stay everything. Very disappointing that a child's costume is so flimsy and thrown together as it seems. With the experience if 2 different costumes I will not be purchasing anymore of this brand costume. Next year I will be making all of them by hand.

My son absolutely loved this outfit. It's thick material and good quality. It might last my energetic son longer then expected!

Súper mega guay Podía haber sido de mejor calidad c, pero comparado con el tradicional este es mejor así que encantados

The costume was missing a glove and the tail. It looks like it has been used already. I cannot return it as it's a Christmas present for my son and I can't take his present away now. Very disappointed. Expensive defect!
