Nice Product. It was received exactly the same as the picture shown. I am now happy to be able to tune pianos. I have both upright and grand pianos.1. The muting strip is thick enough to put between the strings of the adjacent notes (for upright piano). This is what I really looking for. Well, you will need a screw driver or something to stuck the strip into strings.2. The wrench is solid. Check the star head of the wrench which is made of 2 square and it's good.3. The whitle mute clamp is just right to mute the both sides strings and leave the middle string sound. I tried.4. All others are excellent. I don't see any quality sacrifice for cost. This makes me happy too.The only suggestion: Buyers are better to prepare a small cloth (e,g, the glasses cloth) to pack all those small accessories so that when the zip is opened, things won't drop everywhere. Or, use rubberband to tight them together.

The felt is a bit bulky, but I got it to work. The tuning hammer is long and heavy, but I can see why a higher quality would be good down the road. Nonetheless, this kit is good and worth the price I paid. Tuned our piano twice with it. The star head is a plus.

Figured I'd try tuning my wife's piano... how hard can it be right? just like tuning my guitars except it has a few more strings right?... we'll I hope you realize a 'few' is about 250 more strings. Kit worked great, took some time to do as the piano hadn't been tuned in 10+ years, but the result was well worth it when afterwords my wife said that's the best her piano has ever sounded...I had no issues with the tuning kit (5 stars), as I said it worked great for it's role.My biggest issues were in the my 'listening devices' I first tried a free ipad app, did the entire piano... ya not even close to everything being in tune. Tried my cheap clip on guitar tuner, which didn't work well at all. Then I tried a free windows program, with my laptop built in mic, and external usb mic, with mixed results, worked better in the mid octaves than low or high.. Also installed a couple different android apps on my phone which also worked better on some octaves than others...Next time for the fastest, best results I'll use laptop and android app at same time, starting in middle working down and playing simple chords and octives as I go.. then go back to middle and work my way up... Will be a lot quicker next time!!!!

Silver ring around the handle was not secure and fell right off the day I received it. It's not removable so I had to glue it or it was just hanging there.

Fit my piano perfectly. My piano has not been tuned in nearly 30 years and has been moved 4 times. So you can imagine how out of tune it was before I tuned. Everything one needs to tune is in the set. If your piano vibrates other notes while tuning another the temperament damper if quite long to fit an entire section. I used a letter opened to push and pull through the strings. I hardly recognized the piano after I had it tuned from the bottom A to the upper F#. I am completely satisfied that I know something of keeping this old piano tuned. I think you will be pleased with this set of tools.

I am saving a lot of money turning my own piano. The wrench works well although sometimes it doesn't insert on the tuning peg easily, you kinda have to jiggle it around. There are some pegs on my piano that are hard to get to, but this is my piano and I'm sure others won't have this issue. I wish it came with an instruction manual as I don't know what all of the tools are used for.

Overall, this is a good product. Would I like a slightly tighter fit on the wrench (probably not the right term)? Sure. But it makes it so convenient to make minor intonation adjustments without wanting to wait to pay $100 for someone to come over and do it. The Handle of the wrench is a good length for torque. I read reviews of some of the other options that had very small handles. I do agree that having the longer one makes it easier and more accurate. For reference, I have a Yamaha baby grand.

This is a nice piano tuner kit. Now this doesnt supply the tuner, you can tune by ear, some people actually do, or if you dont have one there are free apps down loadable on your smart phone which is what I did. But this cool little kit supplies the actual tools it takes to tune a piano, and for the price, this just cant be beat. Got mine yesterday, tuned my piano , sounds great. Now for those piano lessons. Lol.
