I received my order pretty quickly and I've made some loaves with it already. I'm very happy with how sturdy each piece that come in this kit. I'm fairly new to baking good bread and I'm constantly developing new skills. I wanted a knife to make backing cuts in my bread, using a double edge safety razor along was kind of difficult to manipulate. I also wanted proofing baskets and a scraper for my dough. When I went to find proofing baskets this kit came up with all the individual items I wanted! I wasn't let down by the sturdiness of the items. I would say high quality but as new as I am to baking I don't have great comparisons. The items I received don't feel like they're going to give out on me any time soon. I've baked 6 loaves, 2 actual loaves and 4 baguettes, so far with these tools. I'm new at this so I haven't yet mastered getting those amazing spirals out of the loaves out of the banneton baskets. I think I need to try their recipes they provide instead of using the one I've most familiar with. I can say that the scoring knife that comes with it has absolutely elevated my cuts. I think the handle does wonders for leverage when guiding the score. Another thing I like about this kit is that it comes with a blade protector so I don't have to worry about my razor's edge when I'm not using it. I'm very excited for continued learning using these new tools to up my bread making game. I'm quite happy with the quality of the products in the kit.

This is the first time I have ever used proofing baskets (I am new to bread making) and I must say, they have made a huge difference. If you often find that your bread dough fails to hold the shape you want it to prior to baking, one of the ways to encourage that is to use proofing baskets like these. The quality of these baskets, in particular, is simply wonderful. The caning is tight, uniform and meticulously finished. With proper care, I'm confident these baskets will last a very long time indeed. I will certainly be buying more of them from this vendor in the future. Honestly it appears to be good quality. I opened the box and took a look at it. Its all well packaged. I think its a nice starter set for someone who already enjoys baking. No weird smells or odors, good size baskets, looks great.

Cover for jar works so much easier and better than gauze. Works so well for sourdough bread. All tools are great and useful. Can't extol it enough. I would give this product 10 stars!

It was nice , but the second basket is too small.

I am a beginner at sourdough bread making. This set was recommended to me by my niece and I love it! My first attempt with the baskets was good. The second time the pattern was even better, sadly no photo. It takes some practice to use the lame properly. Follow directions on the box. I will soon be ordering the oval basket. Thank you for helping to make my sourdough bread making so much fun!
