It’s complete junk. It didn’t work on any of my devices. Don’t waste your money on this.

Does this work for cat farts?

Let's say I'm sure if you leave it by their bum and nothing else. You can use it for yours too if you'd like. It is a mini for humans but you can record other things.

Does this work on an android phone without an adapter? Doesn't seem to work on our phones.

I have an Android and used an adapter that I knew worked, but the mic didn't work at all. I'm tempted to take it apart and see if it even has an electronic mic inside the housing.

Does this work with an iPhone X?

You can buy an adapter for the aux to iPhone by apple so you can connect it to your phone
