This was worth the money spent. The lights are so pretty and it shines all over my baby's room, it's a bit smaller than I expected but it still shines and rotates. As far as I know there is no remote control so I'm not sure why Amazon wants me write about that. You can set a timer for it to turn off and that's super nice, I can set it for 20-30 minutes and my baby will be asleep by the time it goes off. I like that there's a cover to make it a night light instead of a projector. I'd say it's a quality product overall. Updated review; I've only used this product a handful of times and the green and blue projector lights went out and the white night light stopped working. I bought this item in early June and it's been less than a month of having it, we might have used it 9-10 times for 20 minutes.

Okay, so typically I don't take the time to write out customer reviews on Amazon products (I'm lazy that way). But I had to make an exception for this one. I bought this on a whim for my soon-to-be nine year old for his birthday and let me tell you, when I took it out of the package to make sure it worked, I'm hard pressed not to keep it for myself now! If you're looking for an actual constellation projector, this is not the item you are seeking. If, however, you just want a cool night light that doubles as a party light, you couldn't find a better deal. The materials are a bit dinky and I'm not sure how long it's actually going to hold up, but it's incredibly easy to use, has a plug in (so no batteries are actually required as long as you have access to an electrical outlet), and hoo boy is it surprisingly awesome! One button sets a timer, a second button toggles the globe between rotating and standing still, a third button turns on the 'soft light' view, and the fourth button alternates between a standard set of colors (red, green, purple), but then also combines them, turning your room into an instantly psychedelic hangout, where three moons, all different colors, rotate around your ceiling, and a cadre of multicolored stars blast your walls and ceiling. What's more, if you want to really get ridiculous, you can turn on the soft light, plus the multicolor display, then hit rotate. Your room has now just become an intergalactic dance floor jam-packed with moons and stars. No, it's not a lazer light show like you'd get with a $100 + set of equipment for a DJ booth, but it's probably the 3rd best time I've ever had on less than $25. I guess I'll begrudgingly give it to the kid for his birthday, but I'm definitely ordering another one, just for me!

I've only had this for a few days, so I cannot speak to the longevity of this product. I searched high and low for a star projector that fit a few requirements: 1. Ability to plug-in (versus using batteries only): so far, the plug works like a charm! 2. Variable display options (just in case my toddler didn't like one preset option): this has several ways to combine features. You can choose to slowly rotate the entire display, and colors can be singly (white, red, blue, green) or combined. The white light can serve as a night light because it's a bit brighter than the colors. 3. Timer option: I've tested the timer from 5 minutes up to 95, and it works well. 4. The bulb does not get hot (I tested this after the 95 minute option expired). The stars do get thrown high and wide, so if you have this in a larger room, you will get projections in all areas. However, they will be without sharply defined edges. From floor to ceiling, straight up, the projection is clear. It works better than I expected for $25. The manual appears to have been poorly translated from another language, but it works - I still got the gist of how to use this projector!

I just bought my fourth Anteqi star projector night light for an upcoming baby shower. I bought three of these since 2018 for both my grandchildren (2 and 7 years) and a grand niece (5 years). They noticed the overhead stars at even a few months old and enjoy watching them each night. The units have worked well and consistently with no problems. The last three were ordered with a white base. It isn't currently available so I ordered a black base. It looks nice too, and might be a welcome contrast to all the pastels in the new baby's room.

Love this night light!! Only wish it had a timer

We had previously bought our boys the star night light without timer for Christmas, however, with extended use at night one stopped spinning but the colors worked. and the other one would spin but the colors stopped. they only lasted a couple months being run during naps and bedtime but i learned. We recently replaced both of them with the timer option only 4 weeks ago. my toddler runs the most with two naps and set about 20 min. and his is still running great. My preschooler has his for one nap and bedtime and for 20-30 min on the timer. BUT, two nights ago the colors decide to start and then shut off. the only one that stays on is the white. the colors work, they just shut off after about 30 seconds. Overall, the products are great. just flawed in some and not in others. My hope is that some one sees this review and can send him a replacement for his stars he adores so much. I will not be spending anymore money to replace them again this soon.

These last a very long time and I use them through the day too for months and months. I am a repeat customer, but not all that frequently because they last and last. It creates a nice atmosphere. I started using them when after my husbands state of health kept him bedridden for several months that i wanted to create a beautiful atmosphere to lift his spirits. He loves it now and we kept it going.

Love this lamp, great for traveling and home. Has timer and a bunch of different colors including just white.

Nice night light

We bought this one as replacement. We had a different one but one of the buttons stopped working. The projection is better than the last one, stars and moons have sharper clearer edges. And MICH quieter than the old one when the projection rotates. It also comes with a timer so it shuts down automatically. I just wish it has a memory for which color mode you chose last time so I won’t have to press the button 8 times each time I turn it on. But will recommend overall if you are not looking to spend $60 for a kid’s starlight.

I believe it should be cheaper. It will be worth the price if it has a chargeable battery. Besides it has low brightness when it works not from the plug. But when it works from a plug it works good enough
