Excellent, as was my last J-Tech Splitter. (See installation tips below)
Had a previous version of this (J-Tech Splitter 1*2 Model JTDSP0102) that worked very well for four years before it finally quit.Tried a lesser brand instead of J-Tech before buying this; and that brands amplifier output power over-drove my computer monitor, making it impossible to adjust Brightness, and Contrast. Returned product to Amazon the day after it was delivered.Came back to J-Tech for this newer model JTD0102/4K, and this splitter works perfectly; just as my last J-Tech splitter did.Can now send video to both my computer monitor and to my large screen TV at the same time (see below for reasons). However, as one other reviewer noted; you must carefully install this HDMI splitter:All equipment off. Leave it all turned off until finishing installation.Connect HDMI input cable, and both HDMI output cables.Make sure your cables actually are HDMI Certified. I know this sound foolish, but some very low dollar "bargain-bin" HDMI Cables are virtually worthless.I use "RocketFish" HDMI Cables, or currently, "SecurOMax" HDMI Cables; both are available on Amazon, both are excellent. You don't need ultra expensive HDMI Cables (See my review of RocketFish HDMI cables for the reason). Mid grade cables are fine, everything above that is a waste of your money for a "Name Cable". However, again, some very low dollar HDMI Cables are virtually worthless.Connect power supply plug to power source. Then turn everything else back on.This splitter input comes from my computer video out card to the J-Tech splitter, from there one HDMI goes on a six foot long RocketFish HDMI Cable to my computer monitor, the other via a 15 foot long SecurOMax HDMI Cable into the Game input HDMI Jack on my Sony Stereo Receiver (Sony STR-DH720HP see my separate review of it). Game output from the Sony Receiver goes to my LED LCD TV when the Sony receiver is switched to "Game".This allows me to send my computer video out to both my computer monitor, and to my TV, at the same time.Fort batch editing of the hi-definition photos I take; I use the TV to edit photos displayed on both the TV and on the computer at the same time; larger picture, better editing. Wireless computer mouse and wireless keyboard sit on a tray table in front of my couch. For playing games, I use the computer for the games, and wireless Mouse and keyboard set on the tray table in front of my couch to go computer gaming on the big screen. This would also allow me to send anything in the way of streaming video from my computer directly to my big screen TV.J-Tech products simply work, and work very well; cheaper ones all seem to come from the same source (Look at the photos of them on Amazon) and dont work at all.Other advantages of this newer J-Tech model splitter is the lights on the top that show you what is active at the moment. The previous model had no lights.Switching off connected HDMI equipment is no problem; this splitter automatically turns off that output on the splitter when something is turned off, until you switch the connected equipment back on.All HDMI leads are now on one side of the splitter, as opposed to the older model; which had the HDMI input on one end, and the two HDMI outputs on the side. This splitter is much better organized.I highly recommend this J-Tech brand splitter; and give it a well deserved five stars.Hello Amazon, it is NOT May of 2011, it's November 2016; other than that you're doing great.

Works great. Two TV's, one source, no issues.
I guess I can say that I am surprised that in this day and age there is not much more forethought in multiple TV's on the same set of sources. I have three setups and all three are different, but two share a common problem--- two TV's, two rooms, and one cable TV box and Blu-Ray player in one of the rooms. In this latest setup I decided to forego an external switcher between devices and let each TV handle two separate HDMI lines in as the TV's are in completely different rooms. I initially was going to run 25' each HDMI cables and then 1.5' or 3' cables behind the one TV... that didn't happen and I ended up buying a pair of 15-footers and F-F connectors locally to get the setup complete without waiting to finish it off. So that led me with 40' between the one TV and the sources, I was a bit concerned with the distance and the fact that I had to use a connector to put the two cables together. Not what I wanted, but it is what I had to do.So that leads me to this splitter, make that two of them. As I said, this setup was to allow the TV's to pick the sources, not a separate switcher like I have in my other setup. So after running the cables in the walls and ceiling (thankfully it was a drop ceiling) and adding on to make the final distance, all was set to hook up. I have a cable label maker, so I did mark both ends for the DVD and left the cable box without to make things easy to see. Once it was all hooked up and also setting up the BAFX IR blaster on the boxes as well, I fired up both TV's and the cable box--- not a single problem. Both TV's looked great and had no problem with HD and non-HD content.Very pleased with the size as it is a nice metal case and has a bit of weight to it and all of the connections are on one side. A family member now wants the same thing in a part of their house... of course I get elected to do it. At least I know it will be done right and with components I choose. Also both TV's are brand new. One is a 3D and the other is not. I just made sure that I used a proper HDMI cable and everything was spot on.
